It's a new day. I'm Kim Gaskill and this is the Daily Spark. Trial and error. I know you've heard that phrase before. This morning I'm working on a couple of Messenger marketing bots and creating ads and I'm putting two different ads together. Everything is the same except one thing, because how I do my trial and error, how I know which one works best, is by doing two different ones and switching, switching something up on one of them, running them for a week, and then comparing the data. That's my trial and error. Does this ad work? How do I know if this ad works? The only way that I know that it's working well is to run the ad, get the data, and then compare it to something. If it's working better than the other one, then I'm gonna choose the better performing ad and run that again. The one that's not performing as well, I may change up something else on that, another one thing, and then run both of them again. Now that ad might run better, might perform better, but I don't know that unless I do some trial and error, unless I analyze the data that I get back from those tests. Now I'm a scientist, so I love doing empirical data stuff. Some people don't, but we actually do trial and error all the time. We never know if something's going to work. Until we take action and actually try something. If you go out and you want something to be successful, working at it is usually the way that that happens. And when you work at it, the first time you do it, you might not do it exactly the way that you thought you were going to, or the way that you end up doing it 30 days down the road. Because every day you're going to make adjustments. You're going to find ways to improve. And by doing, you've created that trial and error scenario. Every other day you're looking at stuff. Oh, I see that this worked better than it did yesterday. That is, that is what I'm talking about. Doesn't have to be in marketing. It can be in your own personal growth as well. Don't be afraid to go out and try new things. If you're, if you're thinking everything is working great for you, you're doing a meditation program, you're going to the gym, all of those things, that's awesome. But if you try something new for a week or two and then compare which is working better, you might find by trial and error that a different program is actually better for you. But you'll never know if you don't try it. What was that Thomas Edison said? I didn't fail 2,000 times, I just found 2,000 ways not to make a light bulb. Because he only had to find one way for it to work. And that's how life is, folks. So I hope that you look at some things in, in your business and in your personal growth that maybe you could step out of your comfort zone a little bit. Do a bit of trial and error and see if there's a better option for you that works more efficiently and more effectively, because we know that that frees up time for us to do the things that we love. That's all I got for you today. Find me everywhere on the socials at Ecotec, E-C-O-T-E-K, and I'll be here tomorrow for another Daily Spark.
