So I'm at Coloss Limited at Hatch Beauchamp, and this is Anna Mossman, Shivers, Shifts and Overlays, in a really lovely spacious gallery here. So there's a lot of information about these pieces on the Close website and the Artsy site. They've got a viewing room which is very useful in terms of getting an idea of what this work is about, and You see these— it looks like watercolor on large sheets of watercolor paper. Must be about 6, 7 foot high. Some are very still and reflective, other ones are a bit more Aggressive or just dramatic? It seems to be a particular focal length that really seems to help. Because of our bifocal vision, they begin to vibrate and hum, and you get pretty interesting visual effects which you can't really pick up on a camera. But they still look really interesting on the camera. The optical illusions, if you like, seem to change. This has got really lovely sort of waves, very gentle waves happening at the points. I think these are the more recent ones. To have more of a vertical patterning and more random elements as well. Now I believe that actually the first one we saw is the final part of this current series. So we might as well return to the first piece. Yes, there we are.
