Gris de Lin performs a poetic monologue at Eype Church, moving between images of high hills and yellow cliffs to explore loss, care, and what binds us together. Children build sandcastles while the speaker confronts abstract grief, finding strength in humanity's shared song.
High on the hill and on the plains, that's where you will find me taking care of the one who was never known. And alas, heaven's grace does not falter, it does not For a loss far too abstract to explain. I watch the children building castles on the beach where the yellow cliffs tumble recklessly down to the sand. I'm not bitter, but I'm sad for there's something I might have had. So you're sorry? My strength is in you and me and the song of humanity.
