Two people discuss Linzi Light's new work from February 2007. They praise the striking edges that resemble a trough or metallic form. One mentions a similar layered paper installation at the Royal Academy, and suggests the artist could develop the rendering of hands further, as in earlier pieces.
Wow. Yeah, looks pretty nifty.
Actually, the edges look even more nifty, don't they? It looks like it's a trough, a metal thing or something. How does this look? No, that looks better.
That looks better because the edges start eating into it. Yeah, the edges become part of it. Yeah, yeah, that is nice.
Yes, you know, actually I saw that— I went to Royal Academy, they had an art fair going on on those paperworks and stuff. There's some guy who had made something like that. There were sheets of paper behind each other, but graded them, and each one was, you know, maybe I just get fussy and bored too quickly.
You could work on the hands a bit more, you know, with this, because your earlier hands I really enjoyed.
I sort of didn't, yeah, no, I think you're right. But I sort of like the vague outline of stuff as well. I mean, that's basically done, I'm just going to move along.
