Talk us through the scaling of how you scale up something like that. I know a lot of people would be interested in the steps of that.
The short answer was a lot of just brute force, blood, sweat and tears. We had five guys living in a three bedroom apartment. The condo that I bought it was my mattress, my co founder's mattress on the floor next to me and then a guy that we brought down from Minnesota to be our first driver his mattress on the foot of our bed and we were doing the laundry ourselves or doing getting the customer acquisition ourselves and really had to just force ourself to the next set of milestones each time. So we bootstrapped to about 60k in monthly revenue and then we raised some outside capital. We raised 400 grand in friends and family pre seed capital raise. We used that to start hiring a team and scaling into more technology, more markets and then over time just kept growing and growing the business at a pretty fast clip.
