A short motivational monologue by Larry Weidel urging listeners to set a positive intent for the upcoming year. The speaker prompts the audience to at least say aloud, "This can be my greatest year ever," and to consider concrete directions (relationships, personal life, health, business) as part of planning and opening themselves to possibility.
Let's take a second to talk about intent. What is your intent for this upcoming year? Have you even thought about. Have you. Have you done any planning about making this your greatest year ever? Greatest year ever. Maybe it won't happen. Maybe the odds are against you. But the deal is, if you don't have the intent to try to put it on the radar, it's definitely not going to happen. And so what's wrong? What's wrong with you saying to yourself, I'd like this to be my greatest year ever? I don't even know what that means, but I, you know, to start to strike the match of inspiration by at least considering the possibility something great could happen to you this year. Now, maybe you know, already thinking something specific. It could be you have a direction to go, and maybe you don't have a direction. Maybe it's relationships, maybe it's personal life, maybe it's health, maybe it's business. But why couldn't this be the greatest year of your life? There's absolutely no reason that that could not happen to you. So why not think about it? Why? You got to be thinking about something, so why not think about that?
