A short excerpt from Episode #805 (YouTube) where the speaker reflects on hosting a podcast and how sharing other people's relatable stories about money helps build trust with an audience. The speaker argues that relatability via guests leads listeners to understand, trust, and ultimately act on financial advice.

I used to think that it was just me telling my story and somehow I would change people's lives. But having my own podcast, as you probably know, you get to meet incredible people who have incredible stories who all have something to teach about money. And maybe the audience might not relate to me, but they're going to relate to that other person. And when they can relate to you and they start to trust you, that's when they're going to listen. That's when they're going to implement. Because until you reach them and they feel like they can understand where you're coming from, they're not going to listen to you, which means we're not going to change lives.
