Episode #808 - How A One-Hour Meeting With The Dalai Lama Changed This Entrepreneur's Life

I must confess to you that behind me you see a photograph. I was, I think 23 or 24. I got to meet Dhanai Lama at that particular moment of time, actually at a very young age of my career. And I got a one on one. It was not just a kind of, if I may use the word, just interacting with him for a few moments. It was a very intense discussion for roughly around one hour. I met him and I personally feel that changed my outlook towards life. And one of the things, I just asked him a question that what is your guidance to me? That if I want to make impact on the world, he said, don't try to change the world first. Change yourself and try to do something for others. If you can see other people's success as your success, I think you will be more connecting with people. And this is, I think this whole perception has lived with me till date and I'm very happy about it, let me put it that way. So that was at, I think I was 23 or something at that time and I've lived with that philosophy.
