Picking the wrong co-founder can destroy your startup and your mind. Find someone who fills your weaknesses, shares an obsessive drive to win, and can turn the venture into a million-dollar shot.

Picking the wrong co-founder can destroy your startup and your mind. Find someone who fills your weaknesses, shares an obsessive drive to win, and can turn the venture into a million-dollar shot.
The wrong co founder will wreck your business. And the right one, well, they can take you to the moon. This is the person you're going to go into battle with. You better get it right, because the wrong one will sabotage your business and your sanity. You can't tell people how it looks from the top of Mount Everest. Unless you've been to the top of Mount Everest. Everything's more fun when you do it well. And nobody does anything much that they don't do well. Nobody. If you're a crap chess player, you're not going to be playing chess. Going to lose at least half of the time. No matter how good you are, you're going to lose half the time. And if you don't know how to lose, you'll never learn how to win. What can you look for? You look for muscle where you're weak. You got to find yourself a closer. Look for somebody who wants to win as bad as you do. Go build something big. Let's win. This is your million dollar shot. And don't share it with the wrong person.
