This is a short YouTube monologue by Larry Wydell describing a simple weekly practice he uses with his staff: a brief Monday morning meeting where each person states what they completed last week, what they didn't, and what they'll do this week. The speaker frames it as a personal "checkup from the neck up" and briefly mentions his photography website.
Hope you like the background. That's a photo I took myself from a helicopter hanging out of a helicopter from I don't know how far out of Maroon Creek, the most photographed place in the, well, continental U.S. anyway, maroon bells, not Maroon Creek. Anyway, let's talk about. I'm going to share an idea with you. It's something we do every week with my staff. We have a Monday morning staff call and it's real quick. I got this idea off somewhere, the 20 minute meeting every week and everybody goes around and says what they got done the previous week, what they did not get done the previous week and what they're going to do for the next week. And the idea is that it keeps everybody informed. What everybody else is doing is not a bad idea for you to do with yourself. Like, you know, a quick checkup from the neck up to start the week off. What did I actually get done last week? What didn't I get done last week and what am I going to get done this week? That's we do in our staff meetings. Hope you like it. You want, you like the photos? I'm at Larry Wydell photography dot com. All right.
