I'm a firm believer that living in a fear mentality, which I was for a long time, keeps you trapped into that thought process of I guess this is all there is for me. I guess I'm going to work next wherever the company's going to send me, I guess, right Versus the really looking in the mirror and asking yourself is this where I want to be? Is this what I want to be doing and are these the people I want to be working with? And if the answer is no to any one of those, you need to find something different to do and it is not easy, especially different points in life. You could have a mortgage, you could have kids, right? You have mouths to feed, you have people to support. It's not that easy to pivot. But I think I got better and better at listening to those instincts that kept coming up and listening less to the fear based mentality.
