Part 2 - From Law Firm Layoff To Entrepreneurial Breakthrough

There's a saying by an entrepreneur that entrepreneurship is like getting hit in the head by a hammer, and the pain stops when the entrepreneurship stops. So anyway, it's very difficult. I think the magic of being an entrepreneur and of building a software company is all about these two combined factors. The fear of failure drives you to have massive growth. And I remember just the terror of if this thing fails, right? I got to do everything I can to make sure this grows. So I read all the books, I listened to the podcasts, I found the mentors. I did everything I I could to just give me a little bit of an edge so I could make this thing succeed. And I think when we're growing, we can deal with a lot of adversity because it's so rewarding. And I that's one thing I miss the most, is the high growth you experience personally as you're building a company.
