Smalls Goals, Big Impact - How Baby Steps Drive Consistent Progress

A short motivational talk emphasizing that long-term success comes from maintaining perspective, taking incremental "baby steps," and self-encouragement. The speaker stresses patience through setbacks, treating small goals as meaningful progress toward financial and personal independence.
All right, let's talk about perspective, baby steps and encouragement. Now, the transformation to greatness in all areas of your life does not happen overnight. It's not going to happen overnight. It's going to take time. It's not going to be straight line success. It happens step by step, sometimes two steps forward, one step back. Look at the graph of the stock market. It's zigzags up and down, up and down, but overall it's going up. That's how you're going to, that's how you're going to get to greatness. You're going to have some defeat, some step backs along the way. And it does happen if you stay with it and don't look down on small goals. Baby steps, that's the perspective that you want to keep. You want to keep the perspective is we're getting there, making progress. Even though I just had a big setback and the way you get there was step by step, don't look down on small goals and small achievements. Because as we're all familiar with saying baby steps when we all took them when we were young, that's how we got started and that's how we start our road to independence in this world. Financial independence and real independence. See, if you never learned to walk and run, you'd never been able to get out there and do anything in your life. And so likewise, everything new that's created and every skill that you learn along the way, every project that you complete, not only starts with baby steps and it progresses in baby steps. Some forward, some back. And that's why it's important to keep the perspective and not get discouraged. Because you've got to keep stepping forward and giving yourself encouragement to keep on going. Encouragement. You got to say, we're getting there. Because if you don't give yourself the encouragement, nobody else will. Perspective, baby steps, encouragement. And basically that's how you're going to get things done. That's how we always get things done. So baby steps, after you got your perspective, baby steps allow you to give yourself encouragement. Go, go, go.
