Unlock Your Potential: Advice from Top 1% Achievers

Motivational monologue advising listeners to seek guidance from multiple successful people and mentors to move from being in the top 20% to becoming a top 1% achiever. The speaker emphasizes a 'winning' mindset, obsessive focus on improvement, learning from experts in specific domains (e.g., negotiation), and the value of many counselors.
I would say listen to many successful people. Take the areas of your life that you need, advice, input, whatever in and listen. Find a group of people that you get inspiration from, you get advice, you get answers from, because nobody knows it all. And the way all of us get interested, you know, my thing is winning. My deal is helping people that are top 20%, you know, the 20% that do 80% of the work, helping them refine and develop into 1 percenters. That's my thing. I've always been interested in winning and I was enough of an athlete in high school to realize I like winning better than losing. And so, and once you won, you wanted to keep winning. And so winning was good. You know, I got clear on that. You need to get clear on that. But to win, you've got to find other people of one in different areas of life that are going to be useful to you. And so those are going to be people that in that area that you're interested in and need help on. They're like obsessed with it. They've like thought about it morning, noon and night, you know, like Jefferson Fisher, you know, about how to handle conversations and on and on and on. You know this. Like there's areas, you know how you negotiate, you know, the, you know, the Chris Voss and you know, they, they never stop thinking about how you negotiate, how you handle great conversations. They never stop thinking. So as a result, you go to them, you're going to get great insight and you're going to get, you know, nuggets, nuggets that you can use because great ideas don't care who use them. And so my advice to you is have many counselors, people that have won, people that are positive, people that have thought things through that they can pass them on to you, that you can use and you can move forward in your life. And in my world, you know, you can go from being a 20 percenter to a 1 percenter or a 1 percenter to become even more elite, you know, like maybe, maybe the best in the world. Who knows? Somebody's got to be best in the world. Why couldn't it be you? But it's not going to be you unless you obsess over it, unless you keep going and keep pushing. So anyway, have many advisors, high quality people that you listen to on a regular basis because that's how you get ahead. The Bible says there's wisdom in many counselors. So get yourself some counselors.
