20 Tasks to 1M GCI Real Estate Business - The Business Owner MINDSET #shorts

Real estate agents should pick a target hourly rate like $250/hr, set an annual income goal like $500,000, then work backwards to figure out how many hours you can actually work. Do a time study, write your target everywhere, define where you want to be in 2028, and hire support like VAs and an admin to scale the business.
You need to decide that you want to make $250 per hour. I want to make 500,000 a year and I want to work 2,000 hours. So you want to cut your hours by a third and you want to triple your income until you have the three year vision around that. That's what makes you. And then write that number everywhere, 250 per hour. And then you're going to be like mother Effer. I am working on something again that is not even close to $250 per hour. That's the whole entrepreneur mindset is that we build systems that can do the heavy lifting in the business. Or at least 80% of the business can be defined by systems. And then we can get folks to run the systems. And there's different levels of compensation in that whole ecosystem. You know, I have two VAs now that are in different countries that are getting paid well in the countries they're in. It's not the same level of compensation if they were living in like San Francisco. Different cost of living structure. Sold like 40 homes before I hired an admin. But she was able to step in and she knew photographers, she knew handyman, she knew attorneys. It's not hard to find somebody that wants to support a real estate agent that would be a good fit for you. But it's the mindset behind it. If you haven't done it already, it's the mindset behind it. Most likely that either you can't afford it or you think you need to do all these things yourself. I would do a time study. How many hours a week are you working on average? Do you want to make more money? Do you want to work less hours? What's your three year vision? What are you aiming towards? I would specifically write down exactly where you want to be in 2028. I don't know your financial situation now, but in 2028 I want to. My AGI on my tax return is going to be 500,000 and I want to look back on my calendar from 2028 and I want to have only worked 2000 hours or whatever your situation is. Do the math on that and then it becomes really clear.
