Are There Real Lasting Benefits To Real Estate Coaching?

A real estate coach who went from struggling solo to serving 400+ families in one day a week shares why he spent over $1M on coaching and personal development. He argues real estate coaching works when it focuses on lasting benefits, not quick fixes, and teases a 21-day time freedom challenge.
If you're like most real estate agents, you probably have an opinion in terms of the value of coaching. You know, I've been coached more than anyone I know. So the real question to me is, are there lasting, tangible benefits to coaching? In today's video, I want to break down what that looks like, you know, traditional coaching, which is more productivity coaching versus business coaching and really what you might look to get out of a relationship with a coach. There's definitely no shortage of coaches in our industry. It seems like everyone is becoming a coach and that's not to diss anyone that's getting into coaching. Right. I made the decision back in 2013 when I had gone from struggling solo agent to, you know, in a single year, having served 400 plus families working one day a week on a profitable model where I had no stress, tons of money and a whole bunch of time freedom. And at that point I made the decision to teach others how to do this and to learn from the mistakes that I made in that journey. So I definitely respect someone who's coming into the space. It just has to be in a way where the benefits of what they're doing are obvious and they're tangible and, and they're going to last beyond just the relationship with that particular real estate coach. If you're struggling, you know, as an agent or a team leader and you cannot make sense of, you know, time and money, make sure you stay to the end of this video. I've got a challenge that I want to put on you. It's a 21 day time freedom challenge, so stay tuned. If you love the video, please hit the like button. So there are a few things that I wanted to do differently when I entered this world of real estate coaching. I have spent over seven figures. I don't think my wife is around so I could say that out loud. I've spent over a million dollars, no BS on personal development and coaching. Probably 70%. No, maybe more than 70%. Closer to 80% of that investment was outside of the real estate space. So I looked for influences and mentors and coaches outside of real estate so that I can do things differently with my business. And then I had a different perspective on how I wanted to coach to long term tangible benefits for our members. And I'm going to break it down a handful of things I want to take you through. I would say the first thing.
