Coaching-call transcript excerpt (March) emphasizing the importance of clearly tracking and communicating team sales goals and progress. Speaker describes creating and sharing a chart showing goal vs actual volume (annual written goal ~102M; target adjusted to ~96M), frequent team updates when contracts are written, and using incentives (team trip to Mexico) to motivate agents.
Foreign. I wanted to make a comment on knowing the score. This is something I just started recently. In the last two months, I've been more consistent about letting my team know what the score is. So, you know, this is our goal here. If you look at this chart here, maybe a little bit tough to see, but this is basically a chart of actual and goal, or goal and actual volume, this chart here. So our written goal for volume is 102 million this year. And then in terms of units, that's 421 units or something like that. And then just having this in front of my team and then knowing what the score is, really, really important for us to hit our goal, which is 96 million written. I backed off a little bit on the 102. And then we're going to Mexico as a team, if we achieve that goal, when we achieve that goal. So I just wanted to make a comment. Some of you go through a planning process and set goals that may or may not include agents goals, and then you don't really keep that in front of your agents. We're actually starting to email the entire team every time a contract is written and updating this chart up here. So right now we're at 16.3. So if you were to straight line, 96 million, straight line without seasonality, it's 8 million a month right now. Before I think we wrote a couple deals over the weekend. Those aren't included in here, but we're at 16.3 million. So we're actually tracking at 8 million a month, even though January, February typically are slower months for our market. And this is the 1, the 102 here. So we're 16.3 against the 102. For the quarter, our goal was 21.5 million. We're going to blow through that pretty easily considering it's only, you know, second day of March, or was it second day of March? Yep, second day of March. So anyway, so I just want to make a comment on that because I just started doing it recently and everyone is dialed in and knows exactly what's going on with team projections and whatnot.
