Real estate agents learn how to step out of active sales by building systems and a small team. The path: start with an admin, work alongside 2-3 hungry agents while you still close 50-60 homes yearly, then shift fully to listings, scale that to 350-400k GCI, and pay 25% to replace yourself.

For some of you that have a. For lack of a better way to. Way to say it, a control issue. It is a scary step, you know, because you hear the horror stories of, you know, stepping out of production and, you know, what could go wrong. And be careful if you do too early and those sorts of things, those are all valid. But once you've got this thing built out in a way where, you know, the first thing you do is you leverage yourself with an admin. Next. Well, you're still in production. Next, you surround yourself by a couple, probably younger, aggressive, hungry agents that are looking to you to lead by example. So you're not exiting anything at this point. You're just showing them how you do it. That first phase, it's you selling 50 to 60 homes a year and just crushing it. But you're showing those two to three agents how to do it, and you're shoulder to shoulder with them. You know, where it's less. Less like you're thinking about exiting as much as, guys, let me show you how to do this. You know, you're gonna be selling three or four homes a month if you do it this way. And it'll be systematic. Your year one will look like this, year two, year three, those sorts of things. And then it's. Then it's you stepping out of buyers 100%, which is a huge opportunity for team. And then it's you mastering the listing side and ultimately the building that out as a system so you can step out of it. And there's, you know, once you get to the 350-400 GCI range on listings with you as the main listing agent is when you can look to replace yourself, because at that point, you can basically pay out 25% of that business. And as long as it's a system where you're the surgeon in that system, then you could. You could replace yourself pretty easily. And that's an attractive position for a lot of people. All right, so the bottom line, my sermon, my pastor did a sermon where the name of the sermon was like, you're not that important. And that's the reality of it. So all of our business is done in my name, not necessarily from our. MLS doesn't allow it on the buy side, but the customer, the experience, everybody knows they're dealing with the large group. And so. But you don't have to do all of it. Most of you came to me with like, I am ready to get the heck out of real estate. So I know I'm preaching to the choir. Here, but margins conversions are critical. Obviously, when you're looking to get out of production, you have to know your numbers.
