Christina used Facebook to reconnect with old contacts, chat briefly, then add them to a spreadsheet. The lesson: build real relationships and clean up your contact list before buying CRM software. Messy data makes tech adoption pointless.
I don't know if I have told this story to this group or if you've heard it, but one of our Kirby and Christina and actually was Christina, the wife that hijacked Kirby's Facebook account. And every day she would go on and just wish happy birthday to all the daily birthdays seven days a week for almost three years and bring every one of those contacts through a conversation over a couple three days, catching up. And then basically with the script I just used, except on audio or just via chat on messenger, bringing those into the database. So it. So we can go both ways. You can, you know, bring make sure all. Everyone in your database, you're obviously friends with them and you're posting good stuff. And for some of you that put down the tech as the priority. Keep in mind that the tech going into the tech first, it may not be the right move. So if your database is like not clean at all, you're better off just starting with some, some sort of download into a Google sheet or a spreadsheet versus trying to like sometimes it's hard to even organize or sort CRM versus an actual spreadsheet.
