Dave Friedman, who runs the Dave Friedman team in Charleston, SC, gives a first-person testimonial describing how he worked 80+ hours/week and sold ~60 homes a year but had limited financial and personal payoff. After joining Real Estate B School (hesitant at first), he learned to delegate roles, reclaim time, scale to seven-figure revenue, build a healthier company culture, and improve leadership and life balance. The program and its community are credited with systematically simplifying delegation, fixing operational messes, and accelerating profitable growth.
My name is Dave Friedman. I run the Dave Friedman team here in Charleston, South Carolina. I was working over 80 hours a week and every single day during the week and had zero time off. I wasn't making that much money either. For all of that work and selling 60 homes a year, my bottom line was not that attractive. It definitely was not worth it. Nobody was helping me through the process of trying to get back time. Everybody was just preaching, go sell more homes and keep growing. I just didn't have any more time to commit to either family or friends or business, really. I was just working nonstop all the time. Getting on the right track for me personally was getting back a whole lot of time from the business. So that way I get dedicated towards my wife, Hayley. You know, it allowed me to be a better leader and not be as stressed out. If you're full time in the business and you feel like you're just stuck and working too much and you're not growing in the direction you want to, and you're neglecting other parts of your life, and you don't have freedom of time, freedom of money, and freedom of stress, then Real Estate B School is definitely for you. I almost didn't join because I didn't know whether I would see value in a coach. I didn't know where my blind spots were and where things were going wrong. I thought everything was going great. Selling 60 homes a year. I didn't think I needed any help. Things are completely different now. I get to work as little or as much as I want to. We're making seven figures a year. We have a great organization of people that are living in a great culture, and we're providing them with the opportunity for them to grow into their goals that they want within our organization. And so it's just very fulfilling to go from that point in my life to being a leader. That's helping other people achieve their goals, too. Real Estate B School helped me systematically shed different jobs that I've had. You know, as starting in the business. You literally have to do every single aspect of of the job. And that's just what most traditional realtors do. They do everything they do. Listing, coordination, closing coordination, lead generation, marketing, and so what you have to do when you're trying to build a business. And what Real Estate B School really simplified for me was learning how to delegate systematically each one of those positions. Real Estate B School also has this community that's very inviting. No matter what stage you are in your real estate career and business. And so many people in there are so willing to give you information and help and support you along the way that it's been a huge resource to me. Real Estate B School has been extremely transformative in helping my business grow faster, clean up a lot of the messes, and become a lot more profitable. And also it's made me a much better person and live a much better life as a result.
