Do You Know What's Most Important in Contract to Closing?

A real estate agent explains why consistent communication and CRM systems matter most between contract and closing. The speaker stresses automating processes and maintaining client relationships to deliver reliable service through the transaction.
Some generals around contract to closing. So it always came down to consistent communication. Where we were lacking in communication, even if it was a smooth transaction or more important is consistent communication over communication when it's a bumpy transaction, clients crave communication. You know, do not drop the ball here. So whatever system you put together, make sure it is abundant communication from agents, from staff, whatever it takes. Calls, voice messages, email, follow ups, always follow up with an email. Everything needs to be built into a CRM, which is a customer relationship management tool. Top Producer is that tool for us. We build out action plans, we build out listing plans, and we build out closing plans. So world class service must be delivered as part of a system. Automate the mundane so that great client service can happen, right? You don't want your staff thinking about, oh, did I remember to do that? Did I remember to do that? Right? You want to give them confidence that they did everything they were supposed to do so they can show their, you know, brilliance and be present with clients and know that they serve them at the highest level. Alright, closing plans. We have a buyer contracted closing plan and a seller contracted closing plan and use what we do as a model. But my challenge to you is to make it better, right? Look at this. Be like, ah, this is pretty good, but it's not world class. I know I could do it better, you know, because we're striving to make ours better every day. So really think about how you can take what we have given you here and make it even better. And then five year follow up. So once you close a transaction, the transaction is just the beginning of the relationship, right? You show them that you can deliver service at a high level, but you want to consider the lifetime value of your clients, right? We want to go on to the next lead, but let's really maintain a relationship for life. Serve them as if they were a family member, right? That is, they aren't going away, right? You want to love them forever, Add them to your tux program and call them every quarter. Super important.
