Kirby Screwrott summarizes a Real Estate B School coaching call led by Lars Hedenborg that introduces the REBS Productivity Tracker, a three-part system to help real-estate team leaders scale their businesses. The tracker’s sections are: (1) Projects — 90-day "multiplier projects" broken into bite-sized tasks; (2) Dollar-productive activities — prioritize revenue-driving tasks and delegate non-revenue work; (3) Action list & Positive focus — daily wrap-up items and metrics/reflections (e.g., homes sold, team experience). The video positions the tracker as central to Lars’s and many clients’ ability to sell ~400 homes/year while working minimal owner hours, and ends with a call-to-action to book a Real Estate B School consultation.
Hey, real estate. B school community. I'm Kirby Screwrott and Lars Heddenborg asked me to update you on what's going on behind closed doors for this week's private client group. This week, Lars led our B school clients through an amazing coaching call on productivity. Many of you might not know this, but Lars runs a real estate team that will sell over 400 homes again this year. He did it last year, he'll do it again this year. And he really only works about one day a week in his business. And in order to do that, he has to be an amazingly productive guy. And so he developed what he calls the REBS Productivity tracker. And it's a solid tool and that's what he unpacked this week for our real estate clients. It allows you to really dominate your day and win your week. Now, there are really three sections of the tool, and the first being projects. That's what we call our multiplier projects. And it's inside this section where we train our clients to look at everything they need to do in the next 90 days in their business and, and then systematically take each one of those massive projects and step by step, eat them one bite at a time. Kind of like eating an elephant. You eat that one bite at a time and over the course of 90 days, step by step, inch by inch, it allows you to move mountains in your business. And that's what Lars unpacked for us on the call this week. The next section of the tracker is how do you really put the dollar productive activities into your business? The things that you know are going to be the money making activities that, that are going to drive your business to the next level. We don't want to focus on non dollar productive activities. We want to focus on the things that are going to drive the revenue for the business. We're the sales leaders, we're the ones that are driving revenue. And everything that doesn't drive revenue needs to be delegated off of our plate and put on either a technology system or a staff person's plate so they can do that work. This section of the tracker allows you to really identify what are the big things that are going to drive revenue for your company and, and allow you to be extremely successful. The next section is kind of like the action list and the positive focus. We never leave our day without having a positive focus on our day. And we never leave our day without knocking off a few final items. Maybe they're not the dollar productive items, but they're the things that are going to ultimately be action items we have to take care of. Plan date night with your wife, take your kids out to ice cream, whatever it might be. And then the positive focus stuff is, how many homes did you sell? Was it a good day? Did you enjoy the time you spent with your team? What was it that ultimately took your productivity to the next level? This simple process that Lars goes through is what's allowing him to sell 400 homes a year. It's what's allowing me to sell 400 homes a year. It's what is allowing a lot of our clients to scale their business double, triple, quadruple their business. So what are you doing to be productive right now?
