Find Your One Thing and Be MASSIVELY Successful in Business & Life

A motivational talk on prioritizing your core activities and managing multiple goals in business and life. The speaker introduces the concept of 'seasons' as short-term focused efforts, emphasizing commitment and balance between personal and professional pursuits.
So whatever that activity is for you in your business, you just can't make an excuse. It has to be the one thing, and it has to be the thing you do before anything else you do in the day. And if you have multiple things, then you're really screwed. My one thing in my business is like, that's my core activity. I've got to get it done. In your production business, it could be like, I have to talk to 10 people in my database every day, or whatever the actual activity is, commit to it, make it happen as the first thing in the day. But let's say you're doing that and then you've got a health goal. So like 15,000 steps is my health goal. Really hard to do. Takes like two and a half, three hours of walking. And then if you have a goal of like, okay, my son's in a season where I'm really helping him. This is like prime time for recruiting and colleges. And so that's another thing. And then I've got my wife. So you really begin to spread yourself super thin. And so then it's just like making sure all the people that matter are really on the same page. Is this really a season? Diane, you've been in the season for like four years now. It's not a season. Like, seasons are 90 days. They're not like, you know, so the definition of a season, if you keep telling yourself, and I've done this, if you keep telling yourself this is just for a season. A season is like a 90 day push. There are times where it's just like, I've got, I've got to push hard, you know, And I'll tell this to my wife, like, I've got to push hard for these 90 days. If I'm a little bit, you know, this is just for 90 days. But then she'll, she'll check me, you know, be like, okay, the season is like more than, you know, know, more than like, we've passed like, multiple, you know, it's cold out and you started this when it was hot out. The seasons are moving and you've, you know, you've kind of fallen through in your, on your commitment.
