How Do Our Buyer's Agents Achieve their Goals?

The speaker recommends two complementary tools for buyer agents: a daily planning sheet (DYD/DYD Lite) for time-blocking the top six money-making activities, action items, a 10-item positive focus, and notes/insights; and a weekly success tracker (paper/Excel/online form) that each agent presents to the team weekly. The lead (Henry) should use an "amped" DYD variant (adds projects) and lead by example. The weekly tracker is required to keep a spot on the team; prospecting time (2–3 hours/day for newer agents) and weekly activity/results (appointments, offers, closings, referrals) are emphasized as accountability metrics.
Foreign. So Henry says Lars, for our weekly buyer agent meeting, should we be using the DYD Lite or some other tool for goal setting for the buyer agents for a new team, what would you recommend? So what we recommend. So under team building there's two things that we recommend. All right. And they're both under time management and accountability. On a daily basis I would release DYD for tlg. So this is on a daily basis. I want my agents time blocking six money making activities. They get an action item list of just stuff that comes up and they do a daily positive focus. 10 things, 10 wins a day and then notes and insights from the day. So they may have some phone numbers down here. It's a daily sheet that they use every day. I guess that's what a daily sheet means. And you know as you introduce this tool you'll go through, you know, all of you have a link if you this Time management for billionaires. This Chet Holmes time management for billionaires takes you through the importance of this top six must do money making activities. You could do that as a team, introduce this tool and say here's why we're going to do it. But Henry, you need to be using the amped version of this tool and lead by example. So the only difference on yours is that there's three projects. The. But I just don't think agents have projects. So I don't, I don't know, I guess they could, you know, you could have them use this tool but I would rather have them have that, that the notes section, the insight section. But you guys can go through the training Positive focus. You can go to YouTube positive focus. Dan Sullivan, you can go do a quick video. I have all my new agents go through the 21 day positive focus. You can order that. I've never looked for an explanation but let me see here. Yeah, so I mean there's probably enough resources where you can go through an explanation from the source of why, why that tool would be important. So that's the one thing you want your agents to use. The second thing is the weekly success tracker. So this is the another paper version. And every week your buyer agents present this to the entire team. They stand up and they talk about their week. So this is not. There's nothing complicated on here. I've gone through it before. The daily tool, the DYD is just for them to manage their time daily. I don't collect it, I don't check it. I tell them they should use it, but I'm not going to babysit them. On it. This is required in order to have a spot on my team. You need to stand up and earn your spot every week. So if you're new to our team, you're two months in and you prospected three hours in a week and you did one hour of follow up and you set no appointments. When we have thousands of leads that could be called, you're not going to last long. So two to three hours prospecting a day is normal for newer agents. I can't say that all my agents every day do two to three hours of prospecting, but you know, they know their number one focus is new business development. So. And they enter these, the results from this. So this is double sided, it's one sheet for the week and you have the Excel version of this. So if you wanted to tweak this, you know, go for no's, we consider that agent Soi, no cards, seller referrals, everything that I need, I may tweak this a little bit. But it's, it's, for the most part it's going to stay the same. And then they just, they just summarize their results for the entire week up here and they're saying, all right, last week, you know, I put, I submitted three offers, I got two accepted. I had a closing, I set one. REC stands for teams. So Graham set me one, one mba, I set one for myself, I held one, I got them signed. I did this hours of prospecting, this hours. And so they're basically standing up and talking to it. And on the back they keep track of their appointments, whether we're set by the team, which is Rex, or if it was set by the agent. And then they enter their. If you go to tracking tools, there's a form where by Monday midday on Monday before our Tuesday meeting, they are entering buyer specialist, success tracker. So here they're entering their. I'm not going to open it up but, but this is the online version of it.
