How Donny Coram Prioritized His Goals by Working with Lars

Donny Coram from Caldo Springs, Colorado shares how Lars Hedenborg's coaching system helped him grow his real estate team. He implemented new business systems, shifted his marketing strategy, and built toward scalable growth and personal freedom.
Donnie Corum from Caldo Springs, Colorado. We have a team of three buyer's agents, two admin assistants and an operations manager. Met Lars through a real geeks video where he was being interviewed and got really excited about meeting with him. So I contacted him based on that. So I've been with Lars for about a year now and the team obviously has ramped up quite a bit, made a ton of changes. It's much like drinking from a fire hose. A lot going on. But we're implementing systems slowly but effectively and trying to build a lot around Lars model. And it's been very successful, successful in that capacity. Big thing for us was the listing system, trying to get more, more listings. We've been buyer focused for years. It's been mostly pay per click advertising under a large institute. We've kind of gotten away from the pay per click. We're focused more on listings, postcards, marketing to that nature to generate that, that sort of business and being more focused on the systems that build the business rather than just kind of, you know, technician versus business owners. So just a lot of that's ever going on. How did coach prior? A lot of theory, not much practice. And that's why we went with this new coaching where all of what we do at Lars is more focused on this is exactly what to do next. This is where we take the first steps. And of course Lars gentle reminder to get on board very often. So we've been focused on that. It's an eye opening thing for me just sitting next to guys. As good as you think you are in your local market, you don't really realize how, how far you have to go. So you're sitting next to the guy who doubled your volume last year. So it's really slick. The Facebook group gives you insight into that, so you see that constantly. But I don't think you really get it. To show up for one of these intensives and go face to face with somebody who's just killing it. It makes you feel small, which is a good thing in this case because it helps you to grow pretty fast. I think the ultimate goal is to completely step out of production. I think that may be everybody's ultimate goal. As for the future, it's. Lars has its vision of having a global model, something that can be shipped in multi market, being able to be in several markets simultaneously. We're also pushing towards that goal in the long term. Being able to have. We're the integrity team. So I see no reason why there can't be the integrity team of Florida, the Integrity team of Denver. You know, focusing on a model that's scalable be shipped across the country or anywhere for that matter. So that's the long term goal. Success is freedom, being able to step away. Financial freedom, but also personal freedom. Being able to kind of do what it is I want to do when I want to do it. I think you have a model that both has to make money and any model can do that. Can you have a model that makes money and allows you to step out? I think that's what I'm getting from the large system is just that model that can do both.
