A YouTube talk arguing that traditional real-estate workflows waste agents' time on administrative tasks and limit earnings; the speaker describes selling 33 homes without personally showing properties and explains this as a result of delegating/showing different business decisions while ramping a listing agent. The talk emphasizes optimizing time, hiring help, and treating client ownership separately from doing every task personally.
Traditional methods will enslave you. You'll hit a point in your journey where you just don't have any more hours in the day, and as a result of that, the stress increases. You're not even making that good money because you're doing the 80% of tasks that are administrative in nature. You'll be lucky if you're making 50, 60, $70 per hour when it's all said and done. Lucky. Most agents are making less than $50 per hour because 80% of their time are spent doing the things that they could hire someone to do for a whole lot less than that. I sold 33 homes. Years. The year I did 66 transactions, it was 33 listings. It was when I was phasing out of production. I was ramping up a listing agent to take my place. Still sold 66 homes, and at 33 of them were buyers, and I didn't show any homes. So just because I own the client doesn't mean I need to show them homes. And most people are like, how could you not show homes? That's literally the job of real estate agent. When you're playing the game of building a business, you just make different decisions.
