Been selling real estate for this is going on five years. We're in Austin, Texas. We're not natives of Austin. So we transplanted there from Iowa, so knew nobody had no database. Grew in a lot of ways like Lars grew his first couple years. We just drove a lot of buyer leads and picked the phone up and called them. Came from a non sales background, came from commercial development. So never intended to go selling real estate, but saw kind of a broken industry that didn't have a lot of professionals maybe and an opportunity to help people. Well, so we started in April of this year. So we spent our first four years building a lot of the same things that Lars was doing. Kind of not knowing who Lars was. And when we saw what he had done and what he had built, we just knew it was going to exponentially grow what we were already trying to do. Because some of that tracking stuff and maybe leadership development is sort of hard and not easy to grasp onto and just nail first time. I mean like his listing lead tracker in buyer, lead tracker, inbound listing lead tracker. We were just all over the board. No tracking really. Basically had a lot of sales, 170 sales our third year in. And everybody was just going a million different directions. So like we had this, the sales system down, but not the tracking system, which is big. I think you just said in there, like what you measure or what you inspect, you'll inspect what you expect. And it was hard to inspect it when we kind of didn't know where it was. Yeah. So we were with most people know Mike. Their organization like helped us learn how to sell, but had no, like business. Here's how you build a good company coaching. So which is huge. I mean, like it took us so far and we realized, man, we're here, but we can't get there without understanding how to be leaders, how to track this stuff, how to invest in our people and build a culture. And that's what we're learning here today. I think the big takeaway for me is like what Lars said today. Like, I kind of always just thought that you grew up or you had leadership, had it or you didn't. But like the ability to become a better leader by being around the people who are leaders. Surrounding yourself with people like that you want to become and just work on it one day at a time. So just becoming a better leader for the people to build that culture that we're trying to create.
