Matt Greco gives a personal testimonial about how Lars Hedenborg's B-School coaching shaped his real estate business and personal development. He moved into a new market as a lean, mostly solo agent and has begun rebuilding a team (one agent onboard, another signing, actively recruiting more agents and admin staff). The coaching emphasized hiring the right people, leadership skills, and stepping back from daily operations to recharge and learn; Matt reports feeling significantly more inspired to lead and help his team achieve larger goals.
I had known Lars from some different coaching programs and had just seen his progression over the years. That was one of the things that just kind of in watching that led me to be more interested in what he was doing. And so when he decided he was going to start up his own coaching program for me, it was really kind of a no brainer because I had already known just how well he was doing and I just wanted to know more about how he was doing things. My business has changed and personally have changed quite a bit too. So it's kind of been a, it's been a probably a little bit different journey than what a lot of clients have had here. Just were, you know, I don't know if it's really what I signed up for or what he signed up for, but he's kind of been a business coach and you know, a bit of a personal mentor or life coach as well. So, you know, my business is definitely taking shape. You know, where I really, when I had signed up, I just moved into a brand new market and so I had gotten really lean with my team. It was just kind of solo agent again. Now I really just have one other agent. I have another one that I'm signing on and I'm aggressively recruiting, you know, for some additional agents and administrative staff as well right now. So but just has allowed me the opportunity to get after a brand new market and at a much higher price range as well. I wish that I had started hiring sooner. That's, you know, for some reason I just kind of held off for a little while and I'm realizing now that, you know what, that hiring the right people, getting the right people on the bus is definitely a huge component. And so, and then coupled with that is just making a study of leadership and just being able to lead those people and help them, you know, achieve their goals and dreams. So that's probably two of the biggest things that I would have gotten after a little sooner than I am now in general with any of these intensives. It's a great opportunity to just step out of your business for a couple days and just kind of recharge your batteries, connect with some, you know, other people that are, you know, other like minded people that are aggressively growing their businesses and then learn some new things. Of course, you know, from Lars, this, this one, specifically this topic of leadership has been awesome. You know, it's really, I feel so much more inspired, more than usual really. And that's, you know, not a light thing to say, but just so much more inspired coming out of this event to just really get after it and lead and just help, you know, connect with my people and help them, you know, achieve, you know, the life that they never thought possible for themselves either. So I'm really excited about that, to bring that back, you know, to my team.
