Michelle and Lexi Taylor moved their real estate business from San Diego to Wilmington, NC and doubled their production in 14 weeks using Lars's coaching systems: spreadsheets, a business tracker, buyer agent training, and regular one-on-one meetings. They credit the structured approach with transforming their team culture and laying the groundwork for expansion.
Hi, we're Michelle and Lexi Taylor of the Taylor Group Carolinas. We're out of Wilmington, North Carolina and we love Lars. Well, we think education is really important and we study a lot that's out there. We were learning some good habits on prospecting, but we didn't feel like we had a really strong foundation to grow our business. And Lexi's really strong in a business background. And so the spreadsheets, the systems, having that make sense to her really helped us build the strong foundation to be able to grow bigger and bigger. I'd say the business tracker is ultimately important. Immediately we started with the buyer agent training because once we could leverage ourselves even more and the buyers actually knew what they needed to do, and also having the one on one meetings so that the buyer's agents knew that we cared about them, we were able to help them meet their goals. And so it was. It changed the culture of our team. We were originally in the San Diego market when we met Lars, and we were successful there and happy there, but we weren't reaching our goals that we wanted to. Once we met, Lars got different systems. We actually decided to move from coast to coast, from one beach to the other. We absolutely love where we live now. It's a different market. The systems that Lars has, we've already doubled what we did a year ago in San Diego and we've only been in this market licensed 14 weeks, so it's not closed volume yet, but we've got contracts and listings and it's pretty exciting. Well, originally, you know, we thought, okay, 12 to 18 months and we'll learn what we need to learn with Lars and we just see that it is absolutely endless. I couldn't imagine not being part of his community. And it's the coaching, yeah, but it's the support and it's the community that we're a part of here. I can't see leaving that. I see as the better and better that we get in our skills and the more that we understand, the more we'll be able to give back to people in our coaching group. Right now we're learning a lot from a lot of people and I look forward to be able to giving that back. But I can't imagine Lars would ever run out of things to teach us. Ever. The success, to me personally in our business and actually for John Taylor, who's my husband and partner, is that we will be out of the business completely in 10 years and that Lexi, who's an owner and operations manager, that she will have a number of different locations using Lars's guidance. And within two years, John and I will be completely out of the business. Lexi will be running it. We'll stop by and say hi and pick up a check. Right, Lexi? Yeah, but she's got the systems and she's got the know how. She's developing the leadership skills under Lars to be able to take this bigger and bigger.
