Start a real estate database with whoever you know, even five people. Add value consistently through simple habits rather than chasing complexity. The speaker walks through practical steps to build and maintain contacts without needing fancy systems.
It's literally having a clean database of people that you know, know, like, and trust you. And so if you, if you were to give me that list in Google and you were either texting or calling or doing a BCC and copying all the email addresses in your Gmail once a week and just sending an item of value, you don't have to wait to add value to the database until you get it all dialed in, all buttoned up and into a CRM and all tricked out and all of that. If you have five contacts in that Google sheet, then this Friday you are sending an item of value to five people. Next week you may have 15 people in that spreadsheet and then you're sending an item of value to 15 people. So you're building the database as you're adding value to. It just doesn't have to be that complicated. You can make it more complicated in the future, but for now it's just getting in the habit of. Because let's say you only get to 10 people in your database, but there's two deals there in the next year and you're waiting to get to 100 until you start sending out items of value. It's like you're getting ready to get ready to get ready.
