How to Crush 2017 by Setting Business Goals

A real-estate coach walks through goal-setting for 2017 using five business drivers (sales, marketing, operations, finance, people) and five personal categories (faith, family, fun, fitness, finances). Set one big goal per driver, map it across quarters, and track results with the provided template.
What's up? Real Estate B school, community. Today I want to talk about goal setting in real estate B school. If you've heard anything we've been doing, we organize the business by key drivers. And so there's roadmap and then there's five other drivers, which is sales, marketing, operations, finance and people. So the way I coached everyone on the call today was to go through those five areas of your business and come up with a big goal for that, that piece of your business. And then why is the goal so important? What capabilities and resources do you need to achieve the goal? And then in terms of quarter one, quarter two, quarter three, quarter four, next year, what are the goals that you're looking to achieve each quarter and then you go in afterwards and do the actual results. So we have marketing, sales, operations, finance people and then we do the five Fs. We do faith, family, fun, fitness and finances. So what's a goal in your faith? What's a goal for your family? What's a goal for fun, for your fitness and for your finances? You've got to make a declaration, right? I think it's like 10% of the population even has goals and only 3% write them down. And there was that study, I think it was Harvard MBAs, the 3% that wrote them down. I think the study was done like 20 years later. That 3% out earned the other 97% by 10 times. I could have made up all those numbers. All I know is that in the one area of financial success, having goals is meaningful. So take action. Make sure you use this template I'm going to give you. If any of this sounds like it's down up your alley and you want to take your business to the next level, make sure right below here there's a link to jump on a strategy session. So make sure you take advantage of that. And really it's just getting on the phone with me or one of my coaches to really dissect your business. What's working, what's not working, where you want to go and what's holding you back. It's a real simple call, but it's super helpful. But only take us up on the offer if you're serious about building a leveraged real estate team. We'll talk to you later. Bye bye.
