How to sell more homes as a realtor

Speaker explains why very few agents reach high transaction volumes (<1% sell 25+ homes) and provides actionable guidance aimed at getting agents to 2–4 transactions per month within ~90 days. Key factors emphasized are building reliable lead-generation systems, owning calendar/time to prioritize high-dollar activities (conversations and consultations), and avoiding over-reliance on paid lead aggregators.
Here's what's crazy about our industry is that less than 1% of agents sell 25 homes or more even to get to one home a month. The agents that can do that are pretty few and far between. We focus on getting agents to two, three, four homes per month within 90 days. I would say the biggest difference between agents that are doing, let's say, closing every other month, come down to a couple things. If you're doing two, three or even four transactions per month, chances are that you've got actual lead generation systems built out in your business. The biggest challenge that agents have is that they come to us and they are clueless about how to actually generate leads and they're conditioned to think that the only way to get leads is to pay for them. So essentially pay someone else to be a better marketer than you, or you're paying 30 to 40% at closing. For some of these lead aggregators, you know, they get paid at closing. Another big thing that we see separating agents that are maybe doing one deal per month versus agents doing two, three, four deals per month is that that they do have control of their calendar. If you're struggling to make the time for your most dollar productive tasks, which are having conversations with the leads you generate, turning those conversations into actual sit down consultations with would be buyer and seller clients. If you don't order your day in a very specific way, and most importantly block out times for your personal priorities, you're going to either get burnt out really quick or you won't have the order you need in your calendar to be able to do the dollar productive activities. I'm talking activities that can pay you upwards of 500 to $1,000 an hour. And making sure you get those activities in your day no matter what. That's what separates agents that are doing one transaction per month, or even struggling to do one transaction per month versus agents that are doing, you know, two, three, four transactions per month. It's the ability to make decisions on where to spend their time and have the confidence that those activities are going to lead to results which ultimately lead to commission checks which lead to an overflow bank account.
