All right, so in your drive High performance session three is the energy checklist. And many of you have seen this before, but if you've been doing things consistently on here, then go ahead and put a check near them. And there are things that you may have tried but slipped away from or there are things that maybe you know, you should be doing, but you haven't actually gone after yet. So this is just, there's three categories here and the if this is your first time seeing this and your energy levels or your focus on health is not really where it should be, maybe take, you know, just three of these items. For those of you that are kind of focused a little bit more on health, there are certain kind of certain ones that you just should be doing and then maybe push yourself to do some more. So let's go through rest and exercise first. So simply walking outside every day for 30 minutes, that's just stress and exercise benefits. Sleeping eight he's changed this a little bit to seven to eight hours per night. But if you miss it, take a nap or meditate. Sleep is not one of those things that you can catch up on. It's not like it's a, you know, once you miss that sleep you've got to, you know, it kind of takes a compound effect on you. Cardio workouts, two 60 minute cardio workouts, two 20 to 40 minute intense strength based workouts and then meditating. So on that list for rest and exercise, what are the one or two things that you're going to go after? I have had it on my list to meditate. Lisa says that Tony Robbins has some kind of meditation audio. Matt Krekko Sleep is huge. Recently got myself into a sleep deficit. Feeling the effects in many ways especially because Matt is training for. He just ran a marathon. He's training for the same one that he roped me into going to. Yeah, I mean it seems like if I get less than eight hours now after running all putting all the miles on the road, I'm tired. So yeah, sleep is big. Ryan Anderson says meditate. Another option I started is a gift a client gave me called a coloring book for grown ups. It's like Zang tangles zentangles, closest thing you can do to prayer and meditation. So meditating for me is something that I really want to do. Let's go to the second category, diet and nutrition. So eating more greens, organic plant based foods. Try kale spinach salad. Gluten is there's. Even if you're mildly allergic, everyone has some level of this just irritates. Gluten is just an irritant and cutting out things that have gluten, some kind of vitamin supplementations, health shakes for breakfast or snacks and we went through those. There's some good Vega protein, has a good source and amazing grass. Avoid sugary drinks, alcohol, caffeine limit white starches, crappy carbs, white bread, croissants, potato chips, muffins, all the things that taste good. If you're active, you have to drink a gallon and a half of water a day, 5 to 6 liters of water per day, and then daily energizing. So this is what Stacy was talking about. Every 50 minutes, every hour, you should be doing some sort of arm crosses or circling arms or knee highs, marching in place, patting your lower back. 20 deep breaths while bouncing in place. If you haven't been to High Performance Academy, the boardroom is going in October, October 8th through 11th. An event worth going to. Very, very cool. He actually takes you through some of these exercises, speaking and gesturing with passion. That's one of my worst ones. I'm just not a sort of, you know, in your face kind of guy with my arms and passionate gesturing. But stay standing more often. That's the standing desk. Hug and engage others physically more often. Be careful there. Don't just walk up to anyone on your team and hug them, especially if they're the opposite sex. Try to make people smile and laugh more often. Focus on being present. I've been working a lot on this one in my home. Keep a Gratitude Journal or Win Streak app is very, very cool. And send an appreciative note. All right, so print this energy checklist out. Hit print and circle the 3, 4, 5, or 6 that you're going to focus on in the next 30 days and make a commitment to yourself to actually do the work.
