I want to get to a few very cool tools about productivity. So Dan Kennedy, I really do just like his definition of productivity. You know, this to me is when you're, when you're looking at how you spend your time, the deliberate strategic investment of your time, talent, intelligence, energy, resources and opportunities in a manner calculated to move you measurably closer to meaningful goals. And so just a lot of times when you look at how your day was spent, it's not being productive. So how much did you actually produce in a day? What did you actually produce in a day? If you were to go back and look at what you produced in a day. So real quick, I just want to share with you my sort of my planning. Every Monday at 11am I do a 30 minute session where I look at my strategic projects. So I have 12 strategic projects for my real estate company. I've got 10, 11 or so for my coaching company. I review that list and then I go into my week in terms of what three crucial results I want this week. So like really sort of game changing results. It's similar to the multiplier projects and the dyd. Those, those three, three things, but three things that have to happen this week. And then I list out sort of action items I'm going to take on my strategic projects. Very, very similar to the dyd. DYD is a little simplified version of what I do, but it's definitely sort of the method. Just spend some time at the beginning of the week. This could be Sunday evening for you. I have sort of something that I do to kind of get my Monday started and then I plan my week on Monday. So your morning ritual should include time to plan out your top six. Six hours. Your top six should roughly take six hours. You've got to work with an intentional plan of action. This is the one area I think I've done the best at because there's nothing there's. Most of you are probably better at different aspects of the real estate business like listing homes or talking to sellers on the phone or getting price reductions or doing listing presentations or working with buyers or servicing people and showing homes. And I don't think I'm the best at those. But I've always made very deliberate decisions with where to spend my time. And it's always come down to just a deliberate process, especially when you're looking to do more than just kind of do transactions. So this whole real estate business school piles a level of work on top of what you're already doing. So you gotta be really, really aware of it. Make appointments for everything. Most of you get that multitasking is a myth. If any of you multitask, you've gotta just eliminate it right now. Because it is. You can only do one thing at once. So checking email while you're doing like, you're going to miss something on what I'm teaching now, that could change everything for you because you're doing something else right? So there is no multitasking. It's an impossibility. You're less efficient when you multitask. So you've got to give up multitasking forever. Single tasking is the only way to get stuff accomplished. Okay? And you've got to make deliberate. We're doing insane productivity. Darren Hardy as a team, and he challenged everyone and my agents, some took on the challenge and they were just unable to do it. To actually work on something for 90 minutes. For 90 minutes. So some of you should try this where I know 90% of you, including me, you're not sitting down and actually working and being productive. You are in a million different things. You're on your phone, you're on your email. Your email takes you to Facebook. There's an advertisement that takes you to Amazon. Your spouse calls you or you get distracted with something or an agent comes and interrupts your day. There's all these things that take you away from your task and your ability just to stay focused on your dyd, Your top three projects and the five steps that are going to move them forward and then your top six for the day. That's all that matters, right? So block 90 minutes at a time. Work within your ability to focus at maximum productivity. You've got to limit your email and cell phone access. Turn off your email, give your cell phone your admin, do whatever it takes to get that out of your world.
