Q&A MEMBERS CALL: Where Should You Look to Find New Agents?

The speaker answers where they find buyer agents, emphasizing there is no single source. They list concrete examples (agents found via Craigslist, referrals/word-of-mouth, team hires, vendors) and current tactics (ZipRecruiter, radio ads, hiring a recruiter). They also describe using a viral recruiting blog and video marketing as a value-add recruiting channel. The tone is practical and inventory-like.
Where have you found your most of your buyer agents? The thing about that is that there is no single source, which I know that's not what most of you want to hear. We found them from like this guy was a past client of mine. A Craigslist ad was my top agent, my share. So John was from Craigslist. Sharon was from a friend of mine that also bought a home for me. So that was like an soi, like word of mouth. Laura was Craigslist. She responded to an inside sales position and she's just meant for outside sales. Jen was from someone on my team brought her in. Randy was from someone on my team that knew he was getting out of new home sales. And then Graham was a referral from someone, an agent that I know in California. Cherie was Craigslist. Kara knew Cherie. Tia was Craigslist in the early days. Keith was someone that knew somebody on my team. So there is no single source. Now we are, I'm doing a little bit of radio recruiting advertising. I'm doing a lot on ZipRecruiter, which includes Craigslist. I'm going to be bringing on a recruiter. So I'm already paying a good, good amount for bringing these, the leads in. And so I figured, you know, I'll, I'll get a recruiter involved. There's one in particular that has done this before in the new home sales space that my newest agent knows personally. So vendors also are a good source, you know, so calling your vendors monthly. I haven't done much with Facebook other than the viral recruiting blog. That's another thing too. So viral, the viral recruiting blog, it allows me to provide value to my market. So that is what is it? Real estate careers in charlotte.blogspot.com so every third post here, I went through a script last time. The one before that was I think a direct offer. So double your income in 2015. Real estate careers in Charlotte.com and then we make the $60,000 minimum in the first 12 months working with us. And then I gave out the dyd. So it's just a value add. Anyone that's with high performance coaching with me gets a free recruiting blog as part of your vyral. And I don't have any kind of affiliate relationship with vyral other than we use them. And I believe in video marketing and Frank is a marketing dork and he's just adding more and more value if you truly embrace that system. So all of those things, Leslie, unfortunately running all at the same time.
