Real estate agents burn out working constantly. Block your time instead: keep Sundays off, take appointments only on Saturdays, protect personal time across different seasons of life. The speaker learned this while raising young kids and staying in production.
There's so much freedom in structure. The reason I'm able to take a lot of time off and time block around family commitments, it's because I've mastered. And it's for different seasons. Obviously, when I was in production and we had two small kids and like all of that stuff. But I still had hard commitments around when I was willing to take appointments and when I wasn't willing to take appointments. So my personal time was still time blocked in my calendar. And I only did. Very rarely did I work Sundays and Saturday was appointment only. I just wasn't willing to go outside of those work hours. It's easy to just to work, you know, all the time and just jump on the computer when you're hanging out and watching TV and you should be actually present with your partner and you're, you know, working, right? Be like, I'm not really working. I'm just checking, checking on stuff, just honoring the calendar, just doing, doing whatever it says you should do. No shame, no blame, just, you know, take a crack at it going forward.
