A real estate agent left a six-figure corporate job in March 2007 with no sales experience, just as the financial crisis hit. He sold 27 homes in his first 10 months and 44 in his first year, then built systems to scale.

27 homes
44 homes
I got into real estate in March 2007. I left a cozy six figure corporate job, had just been married in 2006, my wife got pregnant and so didn't have any sales background really at all. And in those 10 months as the great financial crisis was coming to be, I ended up selling 27 homes. Those first 10 months in the business, I was working all sorts of crazy hours at the time. My first full year as the GFC was fully on. I sold 44 home that year and that's what got this whole thing started. The journey of bringing leverage and systems into my business.
