A real estate agent explains how to build momentum by committing to one daily task, like sending 25 video texts, instead of starting new projects before the first one gains traction. He built a production business he delegated to two people so he only worked one day a week.
What's the one thing? No matter what, I wrote one thing on my list. Can you guys see my. Well, I don't know if you could see it here. What does it say there? Any five video texts. Do you think I have a lot of crap to do? Like I can do. How many things could I possibly do today? My calendar is full all day, so it's not like I'm not doing other things. I'm doing calls like this. I have a couple one on one calls with folks. But the only thing I actually have to do today that I've committed to is 25 video texts. Right. So if I had multiple businesses that I was building, it would be really challenging to get the one thing done. And it comes in seasons. And Jessica was along the ride for this. I was able to build the business. It still had things that were wrong with it. I still had people running the day to day that had some culture issues. But I did build the real estate production business to get out of the production and then have two people run that business on the daily and I could get down to legit. One day per week in the business wasn't perfect. It had a bunch of challenges. It's not for everyone. But I didn't do the next thing until I got momentum on the first thing. A lot of times we want to go on to another thing before it's really the time.
