Stop Avoiding Your Fears With This Courage Checklist

Three types of fear block change: losing something, struggling through the process, or failing anyway. The speaker walks you through naming your specific fears, telling someone about them, and committing to three bold actions in the next 60 days.
All right, so let's go through the courage checklist. We're not going to have time to finish that. This, but you should take time to go through this. This is the kind of stuff that the general public does not carve out time in their day to do stuff like this. And I promise you, I wouldn't put this in front of you if I didn't think it was game changer type stuff. Okay, so take time to go through this material and take this seriously. Yeah, it's created by someone else, but this is the core of what I believe is. It's the thinking side of it and sort of the deep thinking work and some of the limiting beliefs that we have sort of embedded in ourselves that we have to break through or at least get out on the table to be able to move to the next level. So, alright, so grab this, print it out. If you don't get through it now, take some time and get through it. So where does courage come from? How do we start to gain more confidence and courage in our lives? The answers lie not only in moments of crisis, but in how we live each day of our lives. Consider the concepts below and respond to the questions. So first, it's an awareness of what we fear outside of fears for physical health and dangerous situation. What we most often fear are three things. First, we fear loss pain so that by changing or advancing in our lives we will lose something important to us. Second, we fear a good example of loss pain is like going on a diet, right? The fear of losing food. Right. If food is your sort of go to thing that's lost pain. Second, we fear process pain, that the mere act or process of changing will be too hard for us to diet and exercise. You know, say you have 50 pounds to lose. You can use the same example. The process of changing and focusing on your health and your weight will be too hard for us. Third, we fear outcome pain that all the effort we put into changing may not lead to a better outcome in our lives. That's probably pushing a business to a next level. Right? So that's a good example of that. You're not really sure that it's going to work. Yeah, it worked for Lars and it's working for some other people, but maybe it's not going to work for me. So outcome pain that by all the effort we put into changing may not lead to better outcome in our lives. That the grass might not be greener. Okay, so think of a change you have avoided making or dream you have not moved towards and complete the Sentences blow for greater insight. I haven't changed or chased my dreams with more courage and commitment because I'm afraid I might lose. I haven't changed or chased my dreams with more courage and commitment because I'm afraid the process might bring on these hardships in my life. I haven't changed or chased my dreams with more courage and commitment because I'm afraid that despite all the effort, the outcome might not be so good and I could end up, when I overcome all my fears and have the courage to take action, improve my life and improve my life will be different in this way. So what if you do take action and chase your dream with more courage and commitment? What will happen? How will your life be different? Okay, so. Okay, so expressing our real thoughts, feelings, needs and ambitions to others. So it takes courage to tell the world what you're about and how you're thinking. Doing it more consistently will forge a stronger confidence in your heart and social world. A good example for me is, is 10,000 homes, right? That is like super scary to tell the world about that, but I'm starting to say it to everybody and, you know, people think I'm crazy. I don't know of any teams doing 10,000 homes, but that doesn't mean we're not going to be doing it. If I'm honest, I haven't been communicating my real thoughts, feelings, needs and ambitions to the following people and it's costing me. So who aren't you sharing your thoughts, feelings, needs and ambitions with and what is it costing you? A person. Situation I'm dedicated to addressing in the next five days is. And this is how and why. So what situation or person will you actually address in the next five days? And I think this is the last one here. Yeah, last one here is consistently creating and responding to challenges and in our lives by taking action. A person of action develops a sure sense of who he or she is and is also more likely to be bold and resilient in tackling life's major challenges. This goes back to the four Cs, right? The commitment, the courage, the capabilities and the. And the confidence. And that loop, you constantly cycle through that loop and it becomes this sort of. You can envision like a tornado starting from the bottom. It starts small with smaller commitments, but you're building more confidence. It loops up and it finally, you know, it's like this loop here where you're getting bigger and bigger with confidence. So person of action develops a sure sense of who he or she is and is also more likely to be bold and resilient in tackling life's major challenges. Commit today to taking a few bold leaps forward in your life. Three areas I'm going to take more bold action in the next 60 days are and here's what I'm going to do. This is probably the most important thing that we'll do today. So three areas that you're personal or professionals, that you're going to take more bold action the next 60 days. What are those three areas, and what are you going to do?
