Lars Hedenborg maps a 1290-day path to $1M in real estate commissions by working backward from the goal. Year one focuses on building a database, then you layer in brand authority, client care, and expired-list mail across 12 quarters. The target is eight homes closed per month, with each lever contributing roughly two.

The way to navigate to a million GCI is to know you're going to get there in three years and then. Okay, if that's going to be true three years from now, what has to happen today? So I have no lead gen lever set up in my business. So I got to get my database together. I've got to get brand authority or social together. Client care is a Legion lever. Expired direct mail. I've got to envision what four Legion levers are going to help me close. Eight homes per month, two from each Legion lever. Okay, so I can't work on all of them this year, the first year of three years. But let me get my database together year one and then in Q4 of year one, let me layer in brand authority builder sequencing out all the right things. Because we've got 12 quarters, 1290 day cycles that lead into this three year vision. And that's the biggest thing I would say is that, and this is just in the general population, people are like barely getting one foot in front of the other, let alone thinking about a vision for their future. That's like wildly different than today. I was the person doing the building. So I can see in my journey how I was able to tinker and like build it out. In coaching, I was way better, way more effective and I just guided you so you didn't hit all the potholes. I did really well with those people.
