Michael Hyatt's Living Forward walks you through a full-day retreat to map your life priorities and purpose statements across relationships, health, and faith. The speaker ran it with a men's group and credits the structured exercise with real change.
A really good book by Michael Hyatt. Living. Living Forward is the name of the book. And it's like a full day where you just go away and essentially you're looking at the big accounts in your life and personal vision, how you'll be remembered, like your written priorities and then your. Your different buckets in priorities. So relationship with God and the envisioned future, the current reality, you know, the specific commitments, then health and fitness and rest, and then my relationship with Julie, my relationship with my son, my relationship with my D. And each of them have, like, I've associated scripture with it and a purpose statement. I kind of go crazy. I did this as a men's group, and we took a whole day, actually a day and a half to do this exercise. But I would definitely get the book. And then there's some resources and you don't have to go as complicated as I went on it. It was really like a super powerful experience just to sit and just kind of go through the process that is guided by the book. Living Forward by Michael Hyatt.
