The Lowest Cost, Highest Return Tool in Your Business

A real-estate coach explains how referral cards in buyer packets and office holders generate high returns with almost no cost. Ask for referrals at three moments: signing, closing, and 30 days after. Use simple scripts and consistent follow-up.
I promise you, this is so far from anything that you've ever been to. And now Sandy says, I put the buyer package together and have received three referrals since. I love that one because it's not rocket science, right, Sandy? It's just basic sort of things. And I hope what Sandy's talking about is that in the buyer packet, in every packet all around your office, you should have these referral cards. The lowest cost, highest return thing you have in your business. You should be asking referrals on both buyer and listing opportunities. When you sign that person, when you contract, when you close in, 30 days after. So if all of you can take that as an action item, every time you secure a relationship with a buyer or seller, you give them a referral card and say, hey, Sandy, I'm so honored to be helping you with this buy process. Help you find an awesome home. The reason why we're so successful is that we do such a great job for clients and I'm going to just earn your trust in that respect and really work hard for you. And I just ask for you to keep your ears and your eyes open. Anyone that's looking to buy or sell a home, you know, you know, here's a card just to remind you of that. And same same thing when you go under contract. Remember when I said I'm going to do a good job for you? Well, we just got you under contract on a really awesome house. Got you terms and price, you know, who do you know looking to buy a home or sell a home when you close? Man? Congrats on the closing. Who do you know 30 days after? Oh, I hope everything's great in the new house. Hope you're doing great in San Diego. Who do you know that's back in Charlotte that still needs to sell a home or buy a home? So if you put a plan in place around this and have these, we have these. We've gotten away from it a little bit lately, but we used to have these in tri fold brochure holders around the office. So 20 trifold brochure holders with these in them will change the game. So that's a really good one.
