Podcast episode (Business Freedom Podcast) where the host argues that simplifying business operations—focusing on fewer, higher-impact activities and tracking one key success metric—enables scalable, more profitable, lower-stress growth in real estate businesses. The speaker frames the message as a personal rant and promises three practical points to justify ‘simplify to multiply.’
Welcome back to the Business Freedom Podcast. And this is a good Bad ugly edition of the podcast where basically I get to rant about something, hopefully that will help you in your real estate business growth journey. Today, I want to chat about something that I've really been intentional with and that's really helped me in my businesses to get better results more gracefully with less stress and more profitably and for me to have more time. And it's this concept called we must simplify to multiply. And so just so you know, anytime I'm ranting, I'm talking to you out of a direct experience. So when I say you on any of these, I'm not preaching. I am one of the you. So I'm constantly looking back on my business growth journey and where I've done some stuff good and where I've done some stuff really not so good. And so this whole simplify to multiply, I tend to. It's not a word, although I made it into a word. I tend to complexify things. Like, I think that in order to be really successful in real estate, you need to just make everything really complicated. And I don't mean to do it intentionally. And I've learned, and I've done it in real estate B school as well. You know, we've been through periods of time where, you know, we're just doing 12 different things at once. And the hope is that, you know, they're most of those efforts are going to work. And the more intentional, the more focused, the more you can simplify your real estate business, the more successful you'll be and the more profitable you'll be and the more impact you'll have on your clients and your team members. So I want to go through three things that I really think will help you really wrap your arms around why we have to simplify to multiply. And so we all want to scale our businesses. We all want more money. We, we all want more time. We all want less stress. Are we actually doing the things that are going to get us there? And so number one is we have other tracking metrics in place. You have to have one key metric of success. And what I mean by.
