What Gary Vaynerchuk and Alex Hormozi Taught Me About Marketing

A short monologue advising real estate agents to control the narrative through consistent content creation across multiple pillars (market updates, personal/faith/business content, motivational posts). It cites Gary Vaynerchuk’s “jab, jab, jab, right hook” idea and Alex Hormozi’s approach of delaying direct sales pitches, urging daily or frequent posting to engage sidelined buyers as market conditions shift.
Raise your hand if you think there's more noise than ever. Even outside of real estate, there's just noise. Everyone is completely consumed with everything all the time. Some news sources, this is a good point, would say it's not a good time to buy or it's not a good time to sell or we're in a recession, or we're not in a recession. It is monumentally confusing. Same thing with active clients or a buyer that, you know, decided three months ago to sit on the sidelines 10 years already adjusted knowing now that we're going to go into a rate cutting cycle. So if you're not sending out a video to buyers that sidelined three to 12 months, all your sideline buyers telling them what's going on and how rates have, you know, we have fives in some of our rates now and they're projecting one and a quarter point even lower than that over 20, 26. There's still a lot of buyers on the sideline. Inventory jumped up, sellers have reduced their pricing. I can't see a better time to come back into the market. If you're not controlling the narrative and you're not communicating with your database of buyers well, your entire database, that is the way to do it. I think every real estate agent should do that a couple, three times a week. You're giving your opinion on something. Could be like a new subdivision or a new business moving to the market. You have to be the go to authority with all things real estate and business and economic development in your market. And the only way to do is just to commit to it. Every day it's one post, some text, some video. There shouldn't be a day where you're not posting something and not the same thing every day. Pick your four or five pillars. One could be your faith journey. It could be just business related, it could be motivational related. And then there are gonna be like, straight up, the market is shifting. Here are some of the stats. This is what's going on right now. And some of you are gonna revisit the market and I'm happy to do a complete home evaluation for you. And one of Gary Vaynerchuk's early books. Jab, jab, jab, right hook. The jabs are all the content without a call to action. And the way Alex Hermosi says it, the longer you can wait to put out the right hook. I don't know if you guys tracked his three book, his trilogy. He really waited until the third book, three years in or even more to really go for the money.
