What is the foundation for turning pro?

Lars Hedinborg explains what it takes to turn pro in real estate: commitment, time management, and sustainable systems. He emphasizes lifestyle changes over quick fixes and offers strategy sessions to help agents close the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
Hey, real estate B school community. Lars Hedinborg here and I have another message for you. This week we had a coaching call and we talked about something, went on kind of a rant and I don't normally do it, but I'm going through this in my own life where I'm really looking at where I invest my time and like where I want to get to. And it's something called turning pro. And I'm looking at, you know, how much TV I watch, how I'm sloppy with my diet habits and, and I'm not talking dramatic things, but just little things that I'm really not committing to. The thing I want to become the best in the world at, and that's to impact lives, and that's in real estate B school. And the mission that we have is to help real estate agents and top producers, team leaders, just build highly profitable business through the use of sustainable systems and empower people so that you can systematically, that's the key word, systematically increase your net worth, increase your time away from the office. So those two things together and on the call, we did a deep dive into systems. It's the thing that real estate agents hate, but it's the thing that you need to turn pro and you really need to commit to and become great at if you're going to build something that's sustainable, right? We don't want to have to show homes on the weekends. We don't want to have to do the things that you have to do every day to keep the money coming in. You want to be able to set up a business around sustainable systems and have empowered people run those systems so you can be out doing some other thing, impacting your family or your community in some other kind of way. So that's the thing here, is that we need to make decisions with our time that are congruent with the goals that we set for ourselves. So a lot of us say that we want to build this amazing business. We want to sell 3, 4, 500 homes a year, right? That's what I was able to do in my real estate business. But, but are you really willing to make the commitment to cut out tv, to get up early, to eliminate distractions, to not, you know, find every marketing bit that doesn't work to spend time on? Are you willing to make all of those commitments to turn pro? So that's my encouragement to you is what do you need to kill right now and stop doing so you can take your business from here to here? Do you need to go to bed earlier watch less tv, eat better, start working out what are the things you can be doing and layer on top of each other so you can build an amazing business. If you have any interest in doing that and you need help, and even if you just want to get on the phone with me or one of my business coaches, please take us up on the offer for a free strategy session. We're going to look at where your business is today, where you want it to go and what's holding you back. We call that bridging the gap. Where are you today, where do you want to go and what's the middle stuff? What's going to stop you from getting there? So if you're selling two, three, four homes a month now, it's okay, right? But what will your life look like if you're selling 20, 30, 40 homes a month like my team is doing? So take us up on the offer. We'll see you on the free coaching session. Much love to you guys. We'll talk to you later. Bye. Bye.
