A short monologue emphasizing that real estate business success depends on tracking activities and leading indicators (time on phone, meaningful conversations, open houses) rather than lagging results like commission checks. The speaker argues activities equal results and stresses accountability and predictable, sustainable performance through activity tracking.
Big picture overview on accountability and activity tracking is that bottom line, and I preach this to my team all the time, that activities equals results, right? So you'll have a tough time running your business successfully if you are constantly tracking your success by your results. So if you're counting commission checks as your success real estate, you could be 3, 6, 12 months too late, you know, so you've got to be tracking time on the phone, you've got to be tracking meaningful conversations. You got to be tracking open houses. You got to be tracking all of the leading indicators that are going to have you doing real estate at a predictable, sustainable, and a really high level, right? So we got to think about leading indicators when it comes to accountability and activities tracking. And bottom line, there's no way around it is that activities equals results. Okay?
