Lavinia Errico, Co-founder of Equinox, How to Transform Your Energy & Get A “Life-Lift”

In this interview, Lavinia Errico, co‑founder of Equinox and creator of the Move Joy program, shares her "life lift" philosophy that emphasizes strengthening emotions, physicality, mindset, and spirit to age gracefully. She describes her ritual‑based daily practice, the 48‑hour rule for cutting toxic relationships, and how a cascade of personal crises—including a divorce, financial betrayal, a $100 million lawsuit, nervous‑system collapse, and COVID‑19—led her to a spiritual breakthrough through prayer and breathwork. Drawing on these experiences, she built Move Joy, an online community‑focused movement platform for women over 38 that combines three pillars—Release (energy clearing), Reclaim (strength‑building exercise), and Rise Up (divine feminine, sensual movement). She discusses body‑positivity statistics (92 % of women 38+ dislike their bodies), tailored movement metaphors (turtle vs. lion), chakra work, and the importance of community, communication, and laughter in healing. The conversation also touches on her entrepreneurial journey, master‑mind pressure, and the holistic integration of physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual health.

I always say, aging is not for the weak. If you're going to be weak, you're not going to age gracefully. You're not going to age happily. We have to be strong. Our emotions have to be strong. Our physicality has to be strong. Our mindset has to be strong. Our spirit. Like, I call what I do a life lift. Everybody else in my world is obsessed with getting a facelift, a boob lift, a butt lift. This girl. I'm obsessed with getting a life lift.
Foreign friends. We're back with part two of our chat with the incredible Lavinia Erico. We had an amazing conversation yesterday, so if you didn't listen to it, be sure to tune in, because today we're continuing our conversation and diving into Lavinia's big breakdown that led to her biggest breakthrough and the program that she created to help others release the emotions that are keeping us all set. And how you can get a life lift. It's amazing. Enjoy.
Like, my whole life is a life of ritual. I don't say life of habits. I don't ever think that I'm not getting what I want. I don't ever think I'm deprived. I just. I do it like it's a ritual. I make it. I turn it into a ritual so that I really enjoy doing it. I don't feel like I have to do it. Like, oh, my God, I light a candle to do it. I engage my senses in it. I make it fun. I make it. I add texture, I add color. I make it. Like, my friends will say to me, lavinia, you could be in a sandbox alone and have a ball in there. And I could, because I've trained myself to do that. You know, I've trained myself to go into anything and even train myself on things that are kind of yuck. And to find the joy in it, to find the devotion in it, to find the beauty, the connection in it, you know? Like, I like to do hard things. I mean, I'm 64. I mountain bike at 64, and I don't use an E bike. You know, I like that. I like when my. I'm looking down and when my lungs are going like that and my legs are cranking, it's like I feel very empowered in that, you know? And I always say, aging is not for the weak. If you're going to be weak, you're not going to age gracefully. You're not going to age happily. We have to be strong. Our emotions have to be strong. Our physicality has to be strong. Our mindset has to be strong, our spirit. Like, I call what I do a life lift. Everybody else in my world is obsessed with getting a facelift, a boob lift, a butt lift.
This girl.
I'm obsessed with getting a life lift. I want my spirit lifted. I want my soul lifted. I want my life lifted. Then after that, you want to get a facelift, go get your facelift. But first, lift that. And really, when you walk in a room, like, people are like, I love her energy. It takes something. I don't just drink. Like, I don't. I don't have a magic tea.
Yeah.
You know, it takes discipline. It takes focus. It takes self love, self love. Like, you have to love yourself to live that life and. And not love yourself in an egotistical way. But know that I can put myself on the radar. You know, I can let go of toxic people. I can do that. Toxic feelings, too. Toxic. What feelings you can do? Exactly. You know, we don't.
That's, I think, the part that's really hard and funny enough. In my meditation this morning, one of the things, like Dr. Joe will say, because he says you have to change you to change your reality. Yeah. To heal yourself, you have to change yourself. And so in my meditation this morning, it was just another. And listen, it's a lesson I'm still trying to learn, trying so hard. But I was like, okay, I really want to focus on when something's not serving me anymore to move on quicker rather than hanging in. Because, like, for example, relationships now, it doesn't have to be a partner. It could be a work relationship. I hang in with people that are not up to snuff or are not giving me what I need. And then sometimes paying them to torture me, too. That's a whole other thing. Kevin's really good at that one. Yes, I'm excellent. You are amazing at letting people torture you.
Paying them to torture me.
Paying them to torture you. But we don't move fast enough because it's really hard to end relationships. But I'm seeing the toll it takes on me. My health has been compromised yet again because I'm allowing, you know, unhealthy situations for me to continue and continue. And I think that women. I think a lot of us, men and women are. That's a big one for all of us is. Is staying in relationships that are too. Are not right. So how do you. How do you handle that? Are you more successful at that, you think?
I think. Well, now I am. That has definitely come with age, for sure.
How Long do I have?
I.
No.
But I. It has definitely come with age for me to realize when I look back, I definitely kept people around way too long. I didn't want to hurt anybody. Oh, my God, they have a family
and you hold on to the good that they did.
What are they going to, you know,
so maybe they were good in the first year.
How are they going to make enough money? Like, oh, my God, it's so hard to get a job out there now. Like, yada, yada, yada. And now I just realized that as soon as I feel like it's clear, I. So I have this rule. As soon as something is resonating, I literally give myself 48 hours to address it. And to the person. To the person. Like, I'm feeling that this may not be. That this isn't really the. A real fit any longer. I appreciated how. Where we got. But I don't. Because I don't want that those feelings to live inside of me. But I process before that. Like, I'm looking before at noticing they're not doing this. They're not doing this. Like, I'm in that right now with. With one of my employees. And I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'm like on my way over here, I was like, I'm making this change.
Yeah.
When I get home, I'm gonna make this change.
Isn't it funny that our. Our common energy was in that.
Yeah.
Field region today?
Yeah.
Because when you said something earlier, what was it? It was. You said something earlier. And I'm like, oh, my gosh. That's exactly. Exactly it. Do you remember Kev?
He wasn't there.
No. Just a few minutes ago in the interview, you said something, and I'm like, oh, my gosh. That's exactly where I've been is. Oh, what are you worried holding on to at night? What I'm holding onto at night is all of that. Every night I'm stressing about what I'm not getting and not feeling good with whoever it is and how am I going to wake up and deal with them again.
That's the stuff that makes you sick.
Yes.
That is the stuff that makes you sick. So I would say really come up, like, unpack it and come up with a way to address that.
I love the 48 hour rule.
Yeah.
Because the 48 hour rule, because that's what I was meditating on today, is how do I move quicker? God, show me the way. Like, when I see it's not working to move fast. And I texted Kevin I meditated this morning. I really need your help. I need to be able to move faster with this. And not a bad mean way. It's just. It's not working out for either, it's not good for either people. No.
You know I always say that when, when employee works for you and it's not, it's not working out. Right. Think about that. They know it's not working out. Yeah. It's not good for them. Well, think, think about who goes home to their family at the end of that day. They go home to a family, they go home to somebody where they're. They didn't have great self esteem because they instinctively know that it. They go home fearful, they go home scared. Like who's showing up when they're walking in for their family. It's not good, right? Yeah, it's. And who knows what will happen then the wife spills the milk and the next thing you know there, I mean, I don't know but when people are going eight hours or 10 hours and they're not feeling secure and they're not in their flow, the end of the day you're not happy with this person because you're not flowing with them.
Not flowing.
And if you're not flowing, it's like, you know, we can go be in flow and everything's great. And then things could like you could have a moment where things. But then you course correct and you get back in a flow. And that's okay because sometimes we have to do that to actually change the results.
Those are growth points.
It is. Exactly. So we really need that. And when we get through that with people, the more we overcome obstacles with people, the closer we get. I mean that's really, you know, how, how life is. Right. You know, we, we had a situation, we overcame it, we talked about it, we had awkward moments with it, we fixed it, we got in solution and we're, we're closer because of it. Like so. So but when that doesn't happen because the person goes on the defense or their. Whatever happens, they're just not your person to create with. Right. And I just feel like, I don't know. Cut it out.
48 hours.
Yeah.
Observe. Collect the data. Make a decision.
Exactly. And you know, I know, I mean you're a great communicator. And that's the other thing. Most people have to work on their communication skills, especially women. I mean in my whole mood, Joy, I talk about, we talk about the throat chakra and we talk about how many, how much energy people suppress. I Always say here, release your unspoken words, your unresolved conflicts. All the times you were zippering it up to keep peace, but you were keeping peace with them. But you're not keeping peace in your heart. You're not keeping peace in your soul. But what's more important for them to be at peace. And you notice. Yeah. Like, so that energy lives there, right? There's this energy. And I believe that's why thyroid cancer shows up a lot, because we have all this. We have all this stagnation here. There's all this stagnation of zip it up, don't speak. You know, so we do a whole exercise where we release the energy and we're seeing it flying off of our bodies. And, you know, to really do that, because that's what we do. We were actually very well trained by our parents and by society. Be respectful. Say kind things.
Be a good girl.
Be a good girl. You know, we are so conditioned.
Be angry.
To not be angry. You know, like, instead. And guys, they were conditioned to, like, if you're.
They're gonna fight, tell it like it is.
Yeah, they're gonna tell it as it is. They're gonna blow their steam off, and they're gonna come back and feel better. But what we do is we just go in, we internalize it. We internalize it. We internalize it. We were the society, trained. Like, I. Nelson, I don't tell the women with me go in there. And I mean, first of all, some of these women, if they spoke their truth, they would get killed, right? Like, depending on what part of the world they're in. But it's like, least get the shit off your body.
Yeah.
You know, get that crap. You don't need to be even in the breast. Like, we do a whole thing about moving the energy around the breast because the heart is right behind our breasts. So heartache, resentment, jealousies, betrayal. All that energy is in that heart, and our breasts are right in front of that. Let's move that energy off there, right? We move the lymph. We're very intentional to move it, to get that off of our body. And then to be aware, like, we can speak our truth kindly. We can speak our truth kindly. And then we practice. Practice with your girlfriends.
That's so huge.
You practice. You know, I have my girls that I practice with when I know I have to have a hard conversation with somebody because it can get awkward, right? It can get really awkward. But you practice a few times, and when you've said it a few times, you feel better. You know, and then you get it through and you're able to stay grounded.
So funny. You're talking about the throat chakra. And if you think about it, Kev, the last couple days, my throat has never been so red in my life and so painful. And it was because I was letting it all out. I was saying it all verbally. This is what doesn't work for me anymore. This is what works for me. This is what I want. This is what I don't want. This is how. And so I think it's just so interesting, but I really connect with that message of what is keeping you up?
What is.
And I think we all need to hear that, and we need to really examine that. And then we have to realize that there's a consequence that comes with ignoring it.
Oh.
And with not addressing it. And I've been there multiple times. I never want to be there again. Which is why I'm like, wait, sounding the alarms. This is not okay. And I'm feeling stuff inside my body. I'm not okay with feeling. So we need to make changes because it's. You can never. You don't want to be the martyr that goes down with the ship. Like, for what you've gotta. You've gotta do what's right for you.
Right.
So with.
And that's what I wanted to say is very hard for women.
Yeah.
Because we are so, like, we're the container of making our kids happy, making our husband happy, making our parents happy, society, making our friends happy. Make it like, oh, you know, I mean, a couple years ago, I was like, I'm done. Like, the best thing was because I would go to every friend's birthday party. I would go to every friend's thing. But then when I was going through that situation with my husband, I had, like. I could say, I'm sorry, I can't make that.
Didn't it feel great?
It felt so good. And then I realized I don't want to go back to go into everything. You know, I don't always want to be with big groups of people. I would rather say to my girlfriend, you know, why don't I take you to the Korean spa for the day, and why don't you and I just celebrate for your birthday at the Korean spa for the day? Because I. That I'm more comfortable with that. You know, I don't always want to be all dressed up with a bunch of women. Everybody's drinking. I don't drink. Like, you know, it's just. I don't want to explain why I'm not drinking. You know, I just don't drink. It's like, because I don't think it's healthy. That's why I don't drink. Like. But then they feel judged, you know, so that all starts getting a little, like, there's so many layers.
And I think this also goes back to, like, you're looking at your next chapter of life, and how do you want to live it now? What served you before going out to drinks, going out to the birthdays. That was great.
It was fun.
It's awesome. But this is.
And I still love people. Like, I love being with people, and I like being with them in a different way. Like, I love having the everybody in my backyard. And first we might do some kind of a women's circle, and we maybe do cards, and then we share a word that comes up for us, and we have an intimate moment. Like, I love connection. I love connection. Like, that was really. I really love connection. That. So I try to always create things that has play connection. I like fun, you know, and nature, you know, where we could take off our shoes and be. Have our feet in nature and be able to have that. And. And, you know, it allows people to be more authentic. You know, when everybody's all dressed up and makeup on and fabulous outfits and $3,000 handbags, like, nobody is, like, being so authentic. You know, they're being in their, like, fabulous self. I love being in my fabulous self, too. But, like, now at where I'm at in my age, I want, like, authentic connection.
Yeah.
So really just to create these things that have that.
So tell us a little bit about Move Joy.
Oh, my God. First of all, I mean, we've been
hearing about it in little bits, but, like, what.
So I. First of all, I want you to know I created this. I really wasn't planning on creating it during COVID I just was in my passion and purpose to serve other people. So there were a group of women from New York City that live alone. They were. Most of them are part of different entrepreneur groups. I'm in and whatnot. And they live alone. And they weren't. They. They were home. Like, it was so crazy. And they weren't working out, and they weren't moving, and they weren't doing anything. So I started just sending everybody different online programs that I thought they should join. And then they write me back. Like, I didn't like that. It was too hard. I didn't like, I don't want to do burpees. Like, they had an excuse burpees too. I know they, like, had an excuse for everything. And then one of them, we were on the WhatsApp, said, why don't you teach us a class, Lavinia? And my first reaction was like, darling, I hung up my leg warmers a long time ago. But one of my friends, like, why don't you do it? Like, this would be great. So I did it, and I loved it. But it was a very traditional movement. Then I personally went through a really dark time. It was around 2021. I went through a divorce with my husband, which I did not see that coming.
Which, by the way, we'll go back to his story in a minute.
I went through a divorce with him, and then I went through a financial guy who. I would have told you I felt like he was like a brother to me. And he was doing some really unscrupulous things with my money, where he was making money and I was losing money, which was really. It wasn't even just the money. It was the betrayal.
I hear so many times. My financial guys, like my brother.
Yeah, I know, I know. I think there's something with finance and narcissist that kind of. Kind of goes. But I don't want to put that out there to the universe. But anything. I had that. And then I had a. A situation with a family member who was very unhappy with something. And instead of just sitting down with me and saying, hey, like, this is bothering me, kind of just handled it in a way where I'm going to say is I ended up with a letter from a lawyer that I'm being sued for $100 million. And it was just like,
finances and family.
It was just like all. All within six months of each other.
Oh, my God.
And honestly, Maria, I. My whole nervous system. Talk about a nervous system. It collapsed. Just collapsed. I mean, I almost immediately took off £20. Oh. And then right on the heels of that, I got Covid for the first time. So it was just like. So I already took off way. I mean, it was just horrible. And it was like, the next thing I know, I. All the things that I know to do, like, I know what to do. I was doing everything and nothing was working. I couldn't get out of this gray cloud I was in. I wake up in the morning and
all your training, all your meditations, all of it.
I mean, it definitely kept me from having a nervous breakdown. Like, I think where I would have went if I didn't would have been. I think, like, there's no doubt that I would have had, like, a major, major, major nervous breakdown. And. But I was still functioning. I was still teaching. I was still doing. But I was definitely, like, in a cloud. That's all I could say. Like, I felt like I couldn't get out of this gray cloud that I was in. And I was faking it, trying to fake it, but inside I was like. And then even my therapist recommended Lavinia. I think we should put you on some antidepressants. That'll get you to the other side. I haven't taken so much as an Advil in 20 years. Like, I do not take medicine. I don't necessarily advise that for other people, but that's just the way I do my life. And I was just like, give me a little more time. I'll figure it out. And Maria, I never considered myself. I was always viewed myself more spiritual than religious. And one morning, I got out of bed. I got out of the bathroom, you know, and I literally ended up on my knees on my pillow that was on the floor. And I just started praying to God. I just didn't know what else to do. I just, like, sat there and I was like, God, please, I have to turn this over to you, because this. This monologue that keeps going on in my head, this dialogue, I can't get it out of my body. I can't. Like, I was. I was, like, in shock for all of it. Like, all of it had me in, like, my whole body was in shock. I said, please, God. I just. I don't know what to do. I really didn't know what to do. I mean, I would say for the first time ever, because I'm always such a happy person, but it was, like, not that I thought I was suicidal, but at that moment, I understood why people take their life. Like, I had this moment where, like, I understand why people. Could you imagine? Like, at least I didn't have to worry about money. I had a roof over my head. I had. I had all my essentials. But could you imagine this? And then none of that. Like, I get it. Like, I. I had this deep compassion and empathy for understanding how things go there.
Yeah.
And I just kept praying. I just kept praying. It's like, oh, right, Lavina, you're an Italian girl from New Jersey. You're going to go back to God. Go back to your Bible. And I did it. I went back to church. Found the most amazing church that I just live for now. And through that journey, I kept getting better. And then I'm in bed, and I hear, I'm going ready to fall asleep. And I have my Bible and my little tummy here over my. My castor oil. Castor oil. And I'm getting ready to fall asleep. And I like this. I feel almost like an earthquake in my body that says move. And I jump up and I'm like, what? And it was like, move. And I'm thinking, do you want me to move out of my house? Because now I'm in this big, huge house in Malibu by myself. Like, move. What does that mean? Move? And it just kept saying, move. You have to move. So I don't know what that means. I'm journaling on it. The next day I'm sitting outside. I have this big tree that I hang out on. And I was kind of sitting there doing my morning sun and everything. And all of a sudden, because I had my music still there from teaching my class, and I put on this other music and I just started moving with breath work because I love breath work. And I've been doing breath work for a really long time. But I started. I never do breath work with movement. And I started adding the breath work into the movement and doing it and doing the all different, you know, kinds of breath work. And I'm moving it and then I'm affirming. And I had done Joe Dispenza. So I was doing my whole visceralization, visceralizing. And I'm doing this whole thing and moving and saying and affirming and praying and doing and releasing. And I kept doing that every day. And six weeks later, I literally. It was 3 o' clock in the afternoon on a Friday, and I'm like. I was walking down the stairs because I have this long hallway and I'm getting ready to go down the stairs and I look up and I'm like, I'm out of that cloud. And I just started crying. I mean, the tears are just rolling down because I thought I was. This was going to be my new normal. I thought, lavinia, you just this, put your big girl boots on. You're not going to probably get out of this. This is your new normal. And I was going to accept it and I was going to find my way in it. Like I would find my way. But I had this, like, all of a sudden, it was as if I had on tinted glasses. And now the glasses I could see. And my, like, I felt like my heart could. I could breathe deeper. I could. It was like amazing. And then I was like. I started doing it all the time and then I started introducing it. To the class that I was teaching online. And the women were like, I love all this new stuff. Oh my God, this is amazing. And what I was noticing was they were coming more often because it wasn't just like a hard workout class, it was something else.
It was like soul workout too.
It was a soul workout. It was a spirit workout. And all of a sudden they're coming and they're saying to me, hey, can I invite my sister in law? Can I invite my friend? And before you know it, we have this like community. They were all staying on to talk to each other before and after. They're, you know, who's, hey, if anybody's coming to New York for fashion week, we could all get together. Like they're building little communities. And I'm like, oh my God. And then about a year after that one, I was at a mastermind and one of the mastermind they put me on. They're like, linear, you're up. I'm like, oh, no, no, I'm only here to support. I don't, I don't, I don't want to be on. I'm not, I don't want to be on the hot seat. And they're like, no, no, no, you're going to be on the hot seat. And then I'm figuring that they're going to pitch me on something because every once in a while they would, you know, pitch you on a, to be involved in something or invest or what. I didn't really know what was going to happen. And the next thing I know, they're like, why are you not making that into a brand? And I'm like, what? They're like, you know, your whole. And I'm like, no, because I know what it takes to build a brand. No, it's not going to happen. And they were like, well, I'll affiliate with you. Like, why would you not want to do this? And I'm like, I don't know. I was, I just, I knew I was passionate about it and I could see all the results that were happening. The women who had rheumatoid arthritis and all their doctors are like, your blood work has never looked so good. I was so excited, but I didn't know. And then I did a little bit more soul searching, a little more praying, a little bit more talking to business people that really understand that. And then finally I thought, you know what? I'm going to do this. And then I just put it together, built it out. I'm still in my beta, but it's like, it is. I say, first of all, 92% of all women over the age of 38 hate their bodies. And that's a stat.
92.
92% of all women over the Age of 38 hate their bodies. I hate my cellulite, I hate my back fat. I hate my flat ass, I hate my muffin top, I hate my back. Like, whatever it is, they're, they hate their bodies. And when they work out, they're not working out going, I love my body, I love my body, I love my body. They're working out, they go to the gym and then they have their cute little instructor up there with their six pack and their. And they're. All they're doing is looking at themselves. They don't have what they don't have. And they're not walking out of there feeling like, great. They're walking in feeling, I'm getting old, I don't have that. You know, when you're going through menopause and you're going through perimenopause or menopause or post menopause, things change. Now listen, we can still love our body and want to make it better, but let's start with love. Let's start with loving our body. Let's not start with only seeing the cellulite on my legs, the butt, the this, the leg, the arms changing. Like, let's love our body.
Well, you have to love it now.
You have to. We have to love our bodies.
Well, also, like if you do the dispenza stuff, you see that if you can feel the feelings of what you want now before it's made manifest, then it makes it come faster. So loving your body now is only going to get you to the place where you really look at your body and love it for what you really wanted it to be too.
But I believe when you're moving, when you're moving, the energy in your body. Because when you get people moving their body and you get them breathing, I mean, I start with this one breath work and it's movement, it's like. And most of these people, and then we inhale, inhale more, more and more. We inhale, we hold our breath, we exhale, we hold our breath out and we come up. Everybody's a little high.
Most people, because we never breathe in
my group have never, ever felt that. They've never felt that. They're like, oh my God. And then I can take them anywhere because now they have never felt that. And to just move, they're not sitting in a chair, they're moving. And now when that starts happening, you. You actually love your body when it's moving. You love your body. But here's the trick. You can't ask a turtle to move like a lion. And so many of these classes are asking a turtle to move like a lion. We have to find the best movement for you, the turtle. And, you know, there's not a lot of people out there, like, I am great with the deconditioned, the overweight and the obese. Nobody wants them. Like, nobody is there wrapping their arms around that community and saying, come, come here. We're going to get you moving. We're going to get you loving yourself.
God rest his soul. That was Richard Simmons.
That's what I always say. I say, and this is, I put that in my business plan. Since Richard Simmons, no one has really done that. No one. You know, and I look at all these women that have these on these platforms, and they say, they're like, I'm for women 50 plus. And I'm thinking, like, no, you're not. Because you wouldn't be wearing that if you really were for women 50 plus. And you're wearing that kind of an outfit. You're not there for them because that would be shaming them. Do you know what I'm saying? It's like when you're there for them, it's a different energy. It's a different way to really embrace that, taking people on in that way. So it's really about getting them moving, getting their self love, you know, moving with joy, moving. Because, God, I have a body that's designed to move. And the movement that we do, I always say, so the first part of it is all release. We just release the energy, the stuff that I talked about. So we're releasing that and on our app we'll have all that. So you can do in between meetings. Like, in between meetings, I go and I do literally a three minute of the release.
So, guys, you've heard me say on the show many times, one of the things I learned from Tony Robbins was motion equals emotion, right? So when you're in a down moment or whatever, movement makes a difference, I want to take a quick moment to mention our amazing supporters. Especially because Macy's, our biggest supporter and longest supporter, has some exciting news. For a limited time, Macy's is offering an amazing 25% off all Michael Kohler core styles for both men and women. It's the perfect chance, guys, to treat yourself to some luxury fashion without the luxury price tag. Whether you're looking to Refresh your wardrobe or pick up something special. You won't want to miss out on these deals. Head over to Macy's because a little luxury goes a long way, especially when it's on sale. I like to do a little extra, you know, early holiday shopping with these sales. That's just me giving you a little tip there. Savings begin September 26th. Happy shopping. Also, when you want to feel good, you know that if your hair does not look good, you will definitely not feel good. So friends, you know I'm all about finding the best hair care products. Ouai is one of my favorites. But here's something I love. They've made it really easy for you to find the products that you love that will work for your hair and match your needs by taking this incredible little hair quiz. So if you go on to their website, the way.com you can take the quiz and they will help you match with the right products for your specific hair type and needs. So if you don't know where to start and need some recs, just head on over to the way. T-E-O-U-A-I.com use the promo code HEAL SQUAD and you will get 15% off your order. So the first one is release, right?
So that's the, that's the one that releases all the energy. And we're building out the app now. So there'll be everything from three minute releases that you can do, like say you just had a fight with your husband and you just want to clean the energy. Or I always tell people before you even walk in your house, clean that energy off. Clean the energy. So you'll have so much tools in your toolbox. I love that to be able to just get that energy off of you. So there'll be 3 minute, there'll be 5 minute, there'll be 10 minute, then there'll be a 15 minute release. And this is what I tell people. I don't care if you go on a soul cycle. Hot yoga, what your workout is do, do the. Do the release. You don't have to do it for the workout, just do it to release the energy. So important. The second part of it I call reclaiming. I say we're reclaiming our birthright. We're reclaiming our birthright to be healthy, to be strong, to be confident, to be alive, to be aware, to be awake and to be ready. Like we want to be ready, we want to be ready for life. So reclaim is more traditional exercising for people that want to stay on and do that part. I'M very careful. I've worked with some amazing physical therapists to really create a program that is easy on the joints and the ligaments and because, you know, you're only as strong as your weakest ligament and joint. So we want to really. We want to keep it simple, but you want to keep it simple but not easy. So as you progress, you can add weights to it, you can scaffold deeper, Right? Exactly. But you want to start part. Because we have to get all of the small little muscles that are the closest to the bone. You've got to get those fired up. And most classes do not fire up those muscles for people. I mean, I actually took a class over the weekend, and I just followed the instructor, which I know I shouldn't. And today I'm feeling it.
Yeah.
Like, I'm feeling it in my knee.
I think the turtle and the lion thing is such a smart thing to think about.
Yeah. So anyway, so that's the second part of it. Then the third part we call Rise Up. And that's the part where we're connecting to our divine feminine energy. And that's where we're really moving our body and we're dancing and we're really. I say we're playing with her. We really bring her out. Because as women, we. We don't get in touch with our sensuality very much. It's like when we have sex, then we, like, do it. But, like, our sensuality, our female energy, like, you want to ignite with that. It's. It gives us. First of all, it's so much creativity. It's so much joy. So we move in the way that we really feel that we dance a little, we play. We have a good time, you know, so needed.
Because we've gone so masculine. Like, I'm watching you, and I'm so uncomfortable.
Right?
Like, oh, I don't know how to do that. And then you're like, okay, well, that's probably what you need.
Exactly. And I see that with so many women. They're so awkward. Even when I tell them to move their hips in a certain way, it's like. And I'm like, hello. Like, you have to get. Bend your knees a little.
Pretend you have a hula hoop on
and just feel it and really love how that feels to undulate your body. And then the spine. Because, you know, every organ is connected to our spine, Every single organ. So, you know, Joseph Pilates would say, if you don't have a healthy spine, you don't have a healthy body. And I believe That I started doing Pilates at 17 years old because of dance. So it's like it. The spine has to get in there. You have to know how to move the spine, how to move all this through here, how to move this way. You know, people know how to move this way. They go on the spinning bikes, they know how to move like that, but they don't really know how to move
around, like full rotation.
Exactly. So you have to know how to do that. And when you start moving like that, it's like, oh, my God, I feel so good. Like, you can literally feel the shakti, the, the, the. The. The Kundalini energy coming up. It's so. It is. I say that is the best thing for you thing. You know, I don't like talking about anti aging, but I say I'm you thing. That's what I'm doing. I'm you thing. I'm just getting younger and you thing. And it's like you're lubricating your body instead of beating it up and beating it up and torturing it. And, you know, I still. But I do all of this other stuff with it to really find so much joy and openness and an open heart in my body. Because when you're. Your body is your temple, you know. But most people sit like this and they're like this. Their neck goes down. Like, nobody is comfortable even having their. Having it open, you know, being seen, like, move. Joy helps women take up space. I say to them, take up space, ladies. Be bold, you know, like, really connect to you. Like, what is it I want? What do I want? We touch our heart, we connect to that. We thank our heart. You know, we like, really have this unbelievable experience being together. And even though it's online, like, you could feel the energy when people, as soon as we. They're like, oh, my God, that was so good. I feel amazing. So even my slogan for a while was feel good. Really, really good. And that only came because that's what everybody kept saying.
Ye. So people are doing this online with you?
Yeah, we're doing it online right now. It's all online. I actually have a whole on demand program.
It's kind of cool though, because then if some of this is uncomfortable, you can work that out on your own.
Exactly.
I like that.
And also people are, I want to do this. I want you to do it with us. It's really fun. Like, we really have a good time.
I really also think, like, one of the things that was so screaming for me was the, the, the first one Is the release.
Oh, yeah.
And like having those. What did you say there? Two minutes or something?
Oh, we have a three minute one.
Yeah, like a three minute release to help get me in the right mode before something. Before entering my house. Like, that is so needed. Yeah, so needed. Everything you said is needed.
No, I agree.
Those are really, like manageable, grabbable. It's like grabbing a protein bar. Like, I don't have time to eat, but I can do that. I don't have a lot of time, but I can do what you just said. I can take that little release, go home with a good mindset or whatever it is, or change the energy from something else.
Even. Like you get in. You get in a. I don't know, not an argument, but you get in a confrontation with somebody. You don't want that living in your nervous system. You do not want that. Oh, so, I mean, excuse me.
I'm so good at it.
Oh, but you don't want it. Like, you want to not be good at it. Change that language. Shift that. Like, I was so good at that. Now I moved it. Because you don't want that. You don't want that energy in you. You know, it's like. You know what? Like I have a whole. You're releasing the energy. Like you're literally releasing it and out of your fingers. You know, our hands hold a lot. The webs of our hands hold a lot of negative emotions.
And wait, that's why my hands this weekend hurting.
Yes, that is why Lavinia literally was redder than your fingers. Hur.
And you couldn't massage deep enough. They hold so bad.
That's why we started with this. And literally I say open all the way because these webbing holds so much stress in the webbing of our hands. That's why people have all these hand problems. Of course, everybody says, oh, no, it's. They think it's from this. They think it's from the foam. But the truth of it is we hold a lot of tension in there. Let me think about it. Our hands are connected to our heart.
Heart.
Like, you know, the da Vinci pose. It's our heart and our hands. That's why they call them healing hands. Then you have to have a healing heart. So that's why it's so important to. When you're releasing like this, you're thinking of releasing your heart, releasing the energy of your hands. It's all connected.
Wow.
Now I'm telling you, this is.
This is all supposed to come today. This is so crazy.
Yeah, there's so many layers to what makes this. Like, it really is a movement of healing, of spiritual healing, mental healing, emotional healing, energetic healing, physical healing. Then we incorporate these courses on finances and sexuality, sensuality. So we then, you know, we have this whole program. And then the second part of it, which we have only done a little bit, we're incorporating all these workshops that people could do, online workshops in all these different modalities.
Lavinia, I could talk to you for 20 years and we kind of already have. Where can people find.
Move Joy, movejoy Life.
Okay. Movejoy Life. We'll put that in the link of the description. But I can't. I have a doctor appointment. I know, but I have to hear the ending to the story with your then husband. You guys did all these modalities. You went to Orange county, you did the vitamin drips, you did the colonics. You did. What else?
No, no, no, no. That wasn't with.
Oh, that was your dad. Sorry.
That was your dad. Sorry. No, he did. We did all kinds of stuff. Like I said, I. He did the homeopathy. I had different people working on him on different machines. The no sugar. He was doing his own mind work because, like I said to you, he was a mind body coach. So he was doing a lot of that himself. And I think it was really just believing. Like, we had to have everybody around him. Like, he would say to me, lavinia, I don't want your friends here. You know why? Because they're walking in like this, like, so sad. And when you have to walk in and go, I know you got this. Like, people have. You have to have people around you that believe. You can't.
It's already so hard to believe. If you have other people not believing, you're like, well, what am I, an idiot?
Like, and when they walk in, like, oh, my God, like, I'm so sad for you. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know, like, there's this fine line, but by the position you hold of believing, really believing, and even. And. But yet having empathy and compassion for what the person's going through. But most people get absorbed with their own fear. Their own fear. If this was my husband, like, that's. They come to you.
It's about them.
It's all about them. It is all about them. I mean, I had, like, family members that couldn't even come over to the house because it just freaked them out. The whole thing just freaked them out. So, I mean, it's like you have to have to be some People that you're better off keeping them away because if they get so consumed with fear and they're coming around you with that fear, that is not good. You know, so you do have to be, you have to have a lot of discernment on the people that you come around when you're in those healing, when you're in that real healing. And you do have to believe. You do, do have to believe. And today I would like get people who pray to pray. Like, get really good prayer people. Like, I have so many good prayer people now. Like, I believe in the power of pair. Especially when the people who are praying are like God loving Lord loving Jesus loving people. Like, get them, I don't care. Allah, whoever they pray to, it doesn't matter. It's just that when they're praying and they're really. Every bone in their body, every cell in their body believes that level of faith is miraculous. It's really a miracle. And you know what? 10 years and he's having his 10 year anniversary and he's still on his bicycle. And I don't think it's every day isn't, you know, isn't an, isn't an uphill battle and every day isn't also a day at the beach, but he's still alive and he's still living life, right?
10 years.
10 years. And that's
to 12 months, four to nine months.
Yeah, I mean, they were basically like four to nine months. That was what we first heard or read and heard and all of it. So you do have to believe and you have to have good people around and you have to laugh. Like, that's another thing. We, we watched funny movies when he was going through cancer. We just watched only things that made us laugh and feel good. And there was a doctor based out of Illinois that had that conversation. He goes, please only watch comedies. And now that's all I do. And even on my phone, I'm very lucky that my algorithm on Instagram is all comedy. So every reel is all comedy. It's like, it's amazing. So funny. It's really important. Laughter is really very healing.
We always say comedy must rule.
Yes.
Love that. We were, I mean, if inappropriate was a 10, we were at a hundred every day in the house saying the craziest things to make my mom laugh, my dad laugh, us laugh, whatever it took. And you know, from then on I did, I transitioned out of the Game of Thrones and all of this stuff that was so dark. I just want to laugh.
Right?
I want light and, and that's it. Lavinia. I can't wait to do movejoy. Oh, thank you for coming in. Thank you for the castor oil reminder because I'm going to start using the castor oil as well and so much more. This was so great.
