So over these past few weeks, I've had the pleasure of working with a few South African clients. Now, this is very close to my heart, as many of you know, because I'm from Cape Town in South Africa too. And something really powerful has come up in a few sessions with several of my clients, and this is all about a belief that has come up and that we've explored. And this belief looks like, if I become really successful, I will be brought down to earth. If I stand in my power and get into my power, I will be told, "Who does she think she is?" This is a deep ingrained belief that has been learnt from early childhood. To play small and not to shine too brightly without the community judging you. So I want you to know this powerful message that small poppy syndrome isn't humility. It's a self-abandonment mask as safety, and this is really powerful that you understand this.
