In this advisory monologue, the speaker outlines a detailed roadmap for 22‑year‑old basketball star Caitlin Clark to turn her name, image, and likeness (NIL) into a billion‑dollar fortune by age 30. The plan hinges on two pillars—ownership and recurring revenue. For ownership, the speaker recommends converting existing sponsorships and brand deals into equity stakes and profit‑sharing arrangements, and emulating Ryan Reynolds’ “celebrity flip” by using NIL earnings to buy or invest in consumer businesses that appeal to her fan base. For recurring revenue, three integrated streams are proposed: (1) a weekly basketball‑training video subscription delivered via text, with a library of past drills; (2) a live, subscriber‑only Q&A/AMA session held once or twice a month; and (3) a monthly themed subscription box that bundles products from companies in which Caitlin holds equity, with a 1‑in‑100 chance of a “golden ticket” – signed merchandise or a handwritten note. The speaker stresses the importance of a strong e‑commerce and digital‑product team, continuous reinvestment of profits, and aligning all offerings into a cohesive ecosystem to maximize long‑term value.

If I was 22-year-old Caitlin Clark today, here is exactly what I would do to become a billionaire by the time I was 30 years old. Number 1, when you're trying to figure out how to make money, you have to figure out what your points of leverage are. Caitlin has leverage in spades. Duh, right? She has her name, image, and likeness, which she's already making a solid 7 figures from while she's playing basketball at the University of Iowa. And of course, she has mad skills. And a quick prerequisite, none of this would be possible without a killer e-commerce and digital product team, period. She's got to be able to Show up, do the thing that only she can do, and then leave the rest to her team and get out. So if I'm Caitlin, I'm thinking about 2 main things, ownership and recurring revenue. And the relationship of those 2 things together is very important. So ownership, let's talk about sponsorships and brand deals. Athletes and celebrities get tapped for hawking brands, whatever they're selling all the time, right? She's already got a deal with Nike and a host of other people, but I want her to go for equity where she can, right? Don't just take the money upfront. Go for the equity points. Go for the profit sharing. Go for the long tail of the money. Get your hands on equity. Number two, the Ryan Reynolds celebrity flip move. So we all know Ryan Reynolds loves to buy companies like Aviation Gin, drive up their value by his name, image, and likeness, and turn around and sell the company for about a bajillion dollars more than he bought it for, right? So I want to encourage Caitlyn to leverage the money she's already made from her NIL stuff and. Flip it right back into buying businesses or shares in businesses who sell products and services that her superfans are going to want to buy. All right, let's talk about recurring revenue. Caitlin is so well positioned to go after subscriptions and memberships. I have 2 things in mind in particular. One, basketball training. Super easy, super simple. Yes, there's a ton of this out there, but Caitlin's superfans are going to want training from Caitlin herself. So Caitlin and her team should send out, say, One drill, one video per week delivered via text message to the paying subscribers. So there's new content coming out all the time. Paying subscribers would also have access to like a catalog or library of all the videos that have been released to date. So I can go back and watch and learn those. And then to put kind of a cherry on top there, I would have Caitlin doing a live like ask me anything or Q&A once or twice a month for an hour where paying members get to pre-submit questions and then Caitlin answers them live on a call. Amazing hook, great way to get people, um, staying on as long as possible. All right, next, a subscription box. Again, this is a whole ecosystem, so we're looking at how these things can work together and in tandem and play off of each other. So companies that Kaylin has equity in, right, either one of these, put those together as it makes sense into a subscription box that goes out once per month. And the cool thing is, again, Kaylin would only own Parts of companies other than like her mutual funds and stocks. Okay, that's a separate conversation. Only own major stock in companies who her super fans are really going to want to buy. So they should be kind of grouped together similarly based on the people who would buy them. So send out one of those a month. But the really cool thing here is one of every 100 of these boxes that goes out every single month should have some kind of amazing signed merch and maybe even a handwritten note from Caitlyn herself. And so it's sort of like— Oh my gosh. Willy Wonka and the golden ticket, right? So you never know if you're gonna get it, but you gotta stay on the subscription in order to. And again, all of this works together and in tandem. But the key here, Caitlin, is you've got to double down and reinvest over and over and over and over again. You'll have plenty of money, plenty of cash to live a really wonderful lifestyle. But get to a billion by the time you're 30 by following this roadmap. And let me know if you have any questions.
