I started noticing a pattern of women who were taking literally a mortgage payment worth of supplements. And I talk about this all the time, but I remember literally like getting the scans back and being like, okay, you are deficient in these vitamins, these antioxidants, these minerals, these fatty acids. And so much of the time women would be like, but I'm taking this. Look at this green drink and look at this vitamin. I'm taking vitamin D. How can I be deficient on vitamin D? And I remember thinking, I don't know why you're deficient. That's weird. You are taking it, right? And I'd be like, maybe take twice as much. And so I was like, pause, let me actually dig into this. 'Cause something about me is I'm a problem solver. When I notice problems, my brain gets infatuated with understanding the problem and then solving the problem.
